This is something I generally look for in an app to record meeting notes, thoughts, ideas, etc. I don't want to be bogged down by a gajillion different features I will never use. **What do you dislike about Simplenote?** Simplenote is just a little too simple for my liking. Specifically two things that would make it perfect for me would be a WYSIWYG formatting tab (as opposed to markdown only). I also wish there was the ability to create some simple tables to record information in an organized grid. **What problems is Simplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?** On a day-to-day basis, I need an extension of my brain. I don't want to try and remember the details of a meeting, conversation, or workshop, but rather have a trusted place to record these details. This helps me keep on top of my work and make sure things don't slip through the cracks. Unfortunately, because the software lacked a few things I needed in my day-to-day workflow, I didn't stick with it in the long run. ### 2. Free form in scope, let's you type **What do you dislike about Simplenote?** It simply doesn't give you nearly enough WYWSIG options. Can't bulletise or numerical order. Can't highlight anything, can't embolden. It really isn't much better than a basic desktop post-it note. Nowhere near the same scale as Evernote or OneNote. **Recommendations to others considering Simplenote:** It's a note-taking app, but you really don't get much else from it. I really don't see the point of going to the Windows store and downloading it. Some free apps give you a nice unique selling point - it'll be a cold day in Tahiti before I can figure out what on Earth this one's is. Ooh, I can switch it from white to black background - sign me up as my eyes roll. WYWSIG needs to be implemented to even get people thinking this tool could be a useful compendium in their everyday lives. Can't upload pictures, only Ctrl + C on screenshots - add this, and it might help the tool stand out. It clearly needs a jolt though. **What problems is Simplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing in particular, merely sampling note taking devices. I honestly can't look at this tool as anything worthy of your time and effort. ### 3.
