I also like that I can choose if a poll is anonymous or not, for example: You can create an anonymous poll like this: (/poll "What's your favorite sport?" "Football" "Tennis" anonymous) In this poll, the identity of all voters will be hidden - so if the answers are somewhat sensitive or personal nobody has to know who answered. **What do you dislike about Simple Poll?** I don't like how the polls look or that there is no UI to customize the polls. Also, adding options to a poll after it has been created is not currently supported. The polls look messy and take up a lot of space in the Slack window which I do not like. Also it takes complicated commands to change the emojis used as buttons to something that looks better. **Recommendations to others considering Simple Poll:** We offer a generous free plan which is a great way to get started with polling in Slack. For advanced features and fewer restrictions you may upgrade to Simple Poll Business, which costs $49 per month for your entire Slack workspace. **What problems is Simple Poll solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to use Simple Poll to make quick decisions as a team on cut and dry issues, but it is less helpful for more complicated feedback or for organizing schedules. Typically we use doodle poll for scheduling questions. ### 4. It's not easy to have it do very complicated things like other polling bots. **Recommendations to others considering Simple Poll:** Not much! Good to set up if you need to make some, as the name of the bot suggests, simple polls. Good at it's limited role. **What problems is Simple Poll solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simple polls that we need to do, such as "should we cancel this meeting", or "should we go get lunch?". It is great for simple direct answers with one variable. **What do you dislike about Simple Poll?** When trying to do more that one variable or place and time vs just time , the pole does not work well which result in people writing their preference instead of clicking the option they want. **What problems is Simple Poll solving and how is that benefiting you?** It speeds up the decision making process for simple decisions and allows in app vote count so results are in real-time. ### 6. I also like that it's available within the Slack app, without having to go to an external page. **What do you dislike about Simple Poll?** It's possible that this is an option that I missed, but people are allowed to vote multiple times on these polls. Ideally, there would be an option to allow people to only vote once. **Recommendations to others considering Simple Poll:** This works well as a very basic option, but more advanced polls may require more advanced software. **What problems is Simple Poll solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has helped our company make quick, simple decisions on the spot.
