**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

Simon Data makes it easy for us to run marketing campaigns by leveraging user data and real-time behavior to optimize and test messaging, frequency, timing, etc. Integrating Simon with other user-touchpoint software we are able to build better user flows and communicate more personalized and automated messaging. Having worked with them for several years now, I know that at the end of the day (month or year) my ROI is going be great.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

The current reporting features could use a bit fine-tuning. While some high-level data is available it's not enough to create analytical reports for presentations for C-level or create longterm strategies from. That said they seem to be putting more product resources towards building out more reporting and analytical functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Simon AI:**

Simon Data is more of a partner for your internal marketing, product, and tech teams then a vendor. They've saved us countless hours by drilling into specific use cases for us and how to go live with campaigns, without their excellent service we'd been moving considerably slower. Every company's needs are different but with that in mind, Simon Data is worth seriously exploring.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simon powers all of our user flows for email marketing, including automated onboarding, retention, winback campaigns, engagement-focused drip campaigns and triggered events based on real-time data from our site and our mobile app. Additionally, we're able to build in retargeting initiatives into user flows as well as create self-updating cohorts for paid acquisition channels.

Easy to segment without the need for SQL skills on the marketing side. Also, having people there to help when things do not go as planned.

The lag in data, tagging/folder structure

Automating audience segmentation. We have seen less data breaking and disruptions than with an FTP.

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

A great team to work with - they provide a lot of support and attention  (weekly calls, slack channel) and they respond in a timely manner. We have had lots of new members join the team and they have worked closely with us to make sure the team has received the necessary training. They are also very hands on and willing to come up with product solutions for unique campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

They're working on this, but right now the result feature does not let you select specific dates as the attribution window. It also is somewhat tough to understand the complete customer journey because all of our flows live separately.

More targeted campaign communications.

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

Our Client Solutions Managers are such a delight! They're bright, patient, and so helpful. Whether they're demonstrating a new feature or collaborating on a project, I always look forward to working with them. They're attentive and efficient, too–whether that's answering to an after-hours Slack or hopping on a video call to screen share. The tool itself is easy to learn and navigate as well.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

I wish Simon had send time optimization.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simon's event-based segmentation and dynamic content blocks are two of my favorite features because they enable us to speak to our clients in a more sophisticated and personalized way, which improves their experience of our product and helps my team and I meet our goals.

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

The speed and thoroughness of response from our Client Solutions Manager. Having this resource available to our team has been invaluable and makes working with Simon Data overall an absolute pleasure.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

We have had different individuals internally managing our Simon Data segments and flows, so some of this is a direct result of that. The ability to organize our segments and flows into sub-folders, archive things that we are no longer using, etc. would definitely help us to operate more efficiently within the platform.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simon Data allows us to track the performance of our emails such that we can easily pivot and apply those learnings to our segmentation and testing of our emails. We are able to do this without involving too many technical resources on our end, which is definitely a huge help!

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

Simon moves really quickly, makes it very easy to integrate into any data sources their customers may have, and are extremely organized throughout onboarding and in an ongoing capacity. While their software is great, I have found their customer support to be their true differentiator in that they go above and beyond to understand the client's business and will execute alongside our team.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

Only as flexible as your internal team is in giving access to data. If there was a way they could help get internal data partners more comfortable handing over access, they'd be able to get a lot more done more quickly.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marrying multiple data sources, advanced segmentation, reporting not only on marketing metrics (ie open rates) but through to end business results (ie is the email open driving sales)

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

The level of support Simon Data provides is the best I've ever received from a vendor. They are quick to answer, always available and are great to work with.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

The platform requires SQL based queries for datasets and segmentation. It makes it difficult to get a new hire up to speed on the platform, especially if they do not have SQL knowledge. Simon Data is missing some critical B2B functions like automation, reporting, forms, lead scoring etc.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem Simon Data is solving for is customer reach. Simon Data is able to extract data from almost any object in your CRM and merge and manipulate the data for advanced segmentation. Simon Data is able to do this well.

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

I love that SimonData is integrated with Segment and our database. We are able to quickly create segments of users to contact without having to use internal BI resources. I also love that it is integrated with other platforms like Zendesk so that we can optimize workflows on many different teams. As a non-technical person, it has made channel focused communication and personalization super easy!

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

Since there email product does not include image hosting, we have had to create work arounds for sending emails.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we are solving are around personalization and segmentation. The benefits we have realized are incremental increases in GMV from users we would have not easily been able to contact using our old strategy.

Weekly sync ups, support response time regarding query verification/data layouts if fast and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

Not a lot. But clients could use more autonomy with query creations and ability to delete.
Also, having AMP for email support would be greatly appreciated.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User segmentations for our CRM team is key. Flexibility of creating HTML templates for marketing along with multiple integrations is a big plus.

The team and solution are extremely flexible. We went from using them as a pure email segmentation solution, to having Simon fuel audiences across the media ecosystem. We rely purely on the Simon reporting suite to measure true incrementality/efficacy of our marketing efforts.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

Would love to be closer thought partners with Simon - how we can be driving even more value out of the solution given they are close, if not closer to our data, than even we are?

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

Unique dashboard of key metrics and methods of integrating data quickly and efficiently set Simon Data apart from the crowd. We pull in data from multiple sources and Simon joins it all together so we can use it to create smarter more effective customer segments and and analyze cohorts. I like that Simon also includes the workflow tools for creating outbound campaigns and managing triggers. 

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

Would like to see more campaign level reporting / analysis tools, ability to leverage dynamic content more easily in campaigns. Currently, they lack visual tools for creating customer journeys although all the capabilities are there. 

**Recommendations to others considering Simon AI:**

Consider what data sources you need to integrate and what channels you want to communicate to customers across. These are Simon's sweet spot. Also consider any loyalties you have to existing channel tools in your marketing stack for email, push messaging, etc. and make sure open API integrations are possible so you can hook them into Simon. 

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data centralization, single view of the customer, centralized campaign workflow across channels. Simon Data is a cornerstone of our marketing stack and integrates

**What do you like best about Simon AI?**

As a smaller product, you get better service than established big players, and your feedback actively becomes part of their product development. Because you're dealing with their team over Slack, it's really easy to come up with creative solutions and they work hard to understand your business, instead of giving out rote examples.

**What do you dislike about Simon AI?**

They're working on this, but right now it's not easy to visualise the customer journey. Everything's in separate flows.

**What problems is Simon AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We feed multiple data sources into our email platforms, which would've been challenging otherwise.
