I can control the status of the orders. I can easily calculate the NAV of Unit linked funds. **What do you dislike about SimCorp One?** The file of export can't be saved in the desktop; I need to copy and paste to another file of excel. **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** I solving the problem of manual registration of operations. Rather,it should expand it's market even more in South Asian countries like India. **Recommendations to others considering SimCorp One:** Best In class Investment Management tool covering front to back office operations **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have external third party applications for separate tasks like order management,Trade execution ,matching and settlement which is cumbersome to manage via different applications. Simcorp Dimension provided a single platform to perform all the tasks ranging from order creation till trade settlement and realisation of 100 % STP in trade life cycle thereby saving time and money. ### 4. Things are really simple and easy to configure with best results. The com server module is a good one for fast processing. I would recommend to try simcorp atleast once . **What do you dislike about SimCorp One?** As a developer I was looking for rest apis toninteract with scd db, instead of working with dfs , batch jobs. Simcorp must think of implementing some web service , rest apis if possible. **Recommendations to others considering SimCorp One:** I would definitely recommend to try simcorp if not already tried. **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are many , one such example is recon module which is used to match the external files and trades in system, which save lot of time and provide immense confidence to ops user to ahead and release reports. ### 5. This sometimes take time. However, its a matter of perspective since these functionalities are the core and may not be feasible to be unlocked for clients. Also, there are certain markets that we operate in which are currently not the focus of SCD. Hence market requirements of these regions doesnt come inbuilt. **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** Have automated many process points in our day to day work. This system offers front-to-back integration of investment systems in a single system. Their area of expertise is great, they hired well know economists and other scientists to shape their development roadmap and being in the financial industry they need to be on top of changes in the regulatory framework. **What do you dislike about SimCorp One?** It's very niche application, it's difficult to learn about it on internet. **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** Investment portfolio management ### 8. The ability to drill down at a product level and customer account level is a very good feature of SCD. **What do you dislike about SimCorp One?** Given I have come across other global platforms like Blackrock Aladin and Charles River Development, I think there is scope for improvement for SCD in terms of high end portfolio valuation, regression analysis, portfolio optimisation and P/L attribution. **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have used SCD to help migrate thousands of funds that were reported under old platforms onshore and where the reporting was not detailed enough for the clients to help make timely decisions. ### 11. You can download those to Microsoft Excel base on the data you gather from SimCorp. You can create multiple files, save them in different applications. **What do you dislike about SimCorp One?** Due to the system’s flexibility at this point, I don’t have anything that I regret or dislike. I learned a lot of proprietary systems before from Advent software products to FMC systems to Hi-Portfolio and IMMS systems but I haven’t seen this much flexibility. **Recommendations to others considering SimCorp One:** In the job that I’m in, which I’m dealing with a lot of data (transactions from accounts) in a daily basis, you can rely on SimCorp to answer all of the other department groups questions and to reply to them as quickly as possible. **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data manipulation problems which it was solved using SimCorp system in coordination with MS Applications. You can create multiple list of transaction data to research and can change the information if there’s a mistake(s) made on prior recording. ### 19. I feel like I am working on excel spreadsheet with almost all the modules available in SCD like theoretical valuations of derivatives are so nice and accurate which is truly very helpful for Subject matter expert like us. **What do you dislike about SimCorp One?** External data import graphical checks not available in SCD . Or if I say I should get one reconciled report which ensure all the data points which got import from external applications or source landed accurately into destination modules of SCD **What problems is SimCorp One solving and how is that benefiting you?** Theoretical valuation of derivative is very useful for our data end users who use that in NAV calculations ### 20.
