## Simbiosis Reviews
  ### 1. Low quality profiles just for short and non complex outsourcing, very poor post-sale support

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dani G. | Cief Technology Officer and CoFounder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Simbiosis?**

They may find cheap labor overseas, for simple task or not super skilled profiles

**What do you dislike about Simbiosis?**

We had a problem with a Simbiosis profile meant to be senior ML, whilst first months were somewhat decent although not spectacular, the guy performance plummeted to the point he was not working at all but input for weeks the work, he did not removed the IP and we had to do a complete audit after his "disappearance", this has legal implications and potential lawsuit for us and him and everyone.

Simbiosis instead of supporting with solutions is just asking for their fees on a worker that has been cheating the company. So very careful on hiring long term profiles with them, very poor post sale support and very sketchy way to pay for the labor and to protect your IP.

**What problems is Simbiosis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Labor overseas because lack of talent for complex and highly trained individuals.

  ### 2. The best service to source top talent, fast and affordable.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Simbiosis?**

The hiring process is extremely fast, and the engineers are top talent!

The candidates are technically vetted by the Simbiosis team and always exceed our expectations. I have hired engineering talent with Simbiosis in 4 different companies, and from almost 40 engineers, we have not kept only 2. Simbiosis provided a replacement candidate within the day.

The relationship between the hiring company, Simbiosis, and the agency or candidates is very transparent. Any issues pertaining the candidate's availability, payment or any other are usually solved within 2 days.

The founding team is always accessible to solve any strategic and executive level discussions.

**What do you dislike about Simbiosis?**

The main downside when working with Simbiosis is that developers you hire through Simbiosis are often confused about who they should report to. In a couple of projects, inherence from the project manager at the agency was at odds with our company culture or processes. This is a challenge when you are trying to build culture inside a company.
Additionally, terms in the acquisition or transfer fees are not always crystal clear, so there is a three-way negotiation phase that if very uncomfortable when acquiring the developers.

**What problems is Simbiosis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simbiosis allows companies to hire top engineering talent quickly. This represents massive savings in terms of time and resources needed to create an engineering team.

  ### 3. Highly Impactful Nearshore Talent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Simbiosis?**

Simbiosis connected with a large number of remote candidates in our timezone (US Central) who we were able to speak with and vet individually. The quality of the developer we chose to work with exceeded every expectation we had, and helped us tremendously accelerate product development. It is unlikley that we would have been able to connect with a nearshore developer like this without the help of Simbiosis.

**What do you dislike about Simbiosis?**

It can take some time to sift through all of the candidates to find the right fit. However, this is an issue I would expect to encounter during any hiring process.

**What problems is Simbiosis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform helped us augment our team and accelerate development timelines with highly talented engineers outside the US who were within our same timezone.

  ### 4. Good way to enhance revenue

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro M. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Simbiosis?**

It's a good way to enhance my revenue stream

**What do you dislike about Simbiosis?**

Plattform a bit out of date or somewhat corky

**What problems is Simbiosis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing the possibility to interact with new potential clients and have new revenue sources
