CBC making BC work for Cannabis! **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Shawn F. | Business Systems Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026 **What do you like best about SilverLeafCBC?** The ability to leverage the integration to METRC is instrumental to our organization’s success in minimizing double touches that would lead to massive efficiency loss and risk of data accuracy in a high throughput distribution environment. **What do you dislike about SilverLeafCBC?** It can at times be difficult to support system updates, but this is not a knock against the product - more difficulty in navigating this process with Microsoft products and their extensions. **What problems is SilverLeafCBC solving and how is that benefiting you?** Efficiency through minimizing double touches and rework that would come from having to manage CTS and ERP in parallel. Additionally, fields made available through the CBC product enable us to better leverage our ERP as a system of record. ### 2. It’s a versatile tool that lets users scan inventory and carry out several cannabis-specific inventory actions from a single screen. From that same worksheet, users can process movements and adjustments, split tags, complete product conversions, and create destruction documents without having to jump between different areas of the system. My only wish is that it could support those same functions even when there isn’t a CTS (cannabis tracking system) tag available. **What do you dislike about SilverLeafCBC?** Having setup spread across multiple pages makes it difficult for users to navigate and ensure items are mapped correctly so Production Orders can be processed properly with the integration. There’s also a caveat specific to how we version our WIP goods and FGs: we need to map multiple items to a single item on METRC. However, making sure the related movements are handled correctly typically ends up requiring admin intervention. On the setup side, the Cannabis Business Central Setup page is great for general admin configuration. Where we struggle more is with the Track & Trace pages. It would be really helpful to have a similar central page—much like the Scan Worksheet—where we can access and review setup for SKUs, Rooms, Products, Reason Codes, and similar items in one place. **What problems is SilverLeafCBC solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scan Worksheet is the real MVP. Our operations are very inventory-heavy and compliance-driven, so it’s been extremely valuable to have support that understands how BC affects receiving, inventory movement, production, labeling, reporting, and overall process control. **What do you dislike about SilverLeafCBC?** What I dislike is that some areas of support can still feel more reactive than proactive. When we run into issues, the team is helpful, but I would like to see more upfront guidance around best practices, system limitations, user training and how certain setups may impact operations later. **What problems is SilverLeafCBC solving and how is that benefiting you?** SilverLeafCBC helps solve the gap between standard Business Central functionality and the needs of a cannabis operation. The product supports more specific workflows around inventory tracking, production, item management, lot traceability and compliance-driven processes that standard BC does not fully address on its own.
