The free browser extension is also a great resource for checking pages quickly and emulating diverse needs. A great addition to the Silktide UI has been the 'Test a single webpage' function. Since we have been monitoring our sites with Silktide, our WCAG accessibility has increased. My institution swapped from Siteimprove due to the long scan times. Silktide was easy to implement, integrate and is now easy to use. We use it daily in our Higher Education instutition because it has a number of features we love, most importantly accessibility checks that provide us with broken links, misspelled words, SEO concerns, and more. On top of it all, we haven't had to use customer support much, but, Ayu Shek from Silktide always provides our institution with great customer support when needed and reminds us to follow up with her if we ever need anything. Lots of Features." 5/5 What do you like best about Silktide? I love the wide array of features that Silktide offers and the really easy-to-use interface. One of the features that is really helpful is the Academy courses. This allows us to require training of our Content Editors, especially accessibility. It measures with built-in quizzes as well as provides reporting as to who has completed the courses. Another feature that is really nice is the real-time desktop and mobile renditions that show issues. AI is a great feature, too, that provides technical solutions to accessibility and other issues. Additionally, we have real-time analytics, CMS integration, and very handy heatmaps. Overall, this program is comprehensive with a dashboard that is user-centric. We are delighted with the Silktide platform and it is definitely going to transform our website! It was quick and easy to set up and ready to use instantly. The user interface is clean, friendly and un-cluttered making it really easy to work with. Also like the scoring system - this will encourage us to work on the areas that most need attention. The website integration works perfectly so it is easy to make corrections and re-test. The “Unviewed pages” is really useful for us as they are potentially the pages that have broken links or out-of-date content so a quick way to improve overall quality of content on the website. My colleague loves the realtime analytics, particularly if we have just launched an appeal or published a new post. It also helps us understand whether campaigns on other digital channels such as facebook are generating traffic. The Accessibilty section will be a really important one to work on - and essential for anyone who will need to be WCAG compliant. We do have a lot of work to do to improve our SEO and accessibility but the Silktide platform will hopefully make it a more enjoyable experience.
