We have a lot of pages on our site, and trying to find which one we need to fix is a nightmare. I'm glad Silktide can take us directly to the modern campus site editing page. The platform provides checks in plain English, and there are excellent video tutorials that explain both the reasoning and the process behind each check. Silktide is suitable for both marketers and developers, allowing them to monitor issues alongside other tools. Our account manager, Andrew Palmer, is always available to assist with any unusual requests, and the live chat customer support team is impressively fast, helpful, and efficient. I use Silktide daily, and monthly reviews and reports are shared to help maintain the overall health of our website. The seamless integration with Umbraco makes life much easier for editors, enabling them to quickly identify and address issues. Integrated analytics also give non-G4A users a clear overview to help set work priorities. The accessibility checks are comprehensive, covering a wide range of issues. This approach saves the team time and reduces the need for manual audits, which can be expensive, though we still recognize the value of manual checks. Firstly, the platform is really easy to use, breaking the core areas down to content, accessibility, marketing, and user experience. Each area shows a percentage score, which provides a clear visual on what areas are doing well and what areas require more attention. Within each are clear actionable insights to guide users on how to improve their sites. The accessibility checks are outstanding! The team keep on top of compliance and regulatory requirements are filter these through to the platform, in an easy-to-understand way. In my role, Silktide has allowed me to improve the user experience of the webpages I manage, from spotting all of the little errors that wouldn't have been noticed quickly, to helping me improve the performance of content and pages, to supporting me in implementing changes to make sure that all users can properly access the content that is being conveyed to them online. The platform works best when an individual or team have the time to regularly use it and chip away at the recommendations provided, especially as content and pages are constantly added, amended, and refined. Silktide integrates with our site really well and regularly scans our pages to keep on top of what's working and what needs amending. The customer support offered by Silktide, from our dedicated Customer Success Manager, Andy Palmer, through to the detailed help pages, is great. The platform as a whole is built around educating users whilst they're on the platform, so there's no need to go off and research accessibility standards or what 'x' terminology means. Also being able to grant access to the managers of those websites allows us to devolve responsibility. Maintaining accessibility is a big benefit, as is showing broken links to external sites.
