Though we use Silktide primarily to follow our progress towards AA compliance, it's proven a good asset to quickly optimise landing pages. We've used another WCAG compliance tool (Monsido) and Silktide offers a much better experience. The platform is easy to navigate and makes it also easy to collaborate to solve tasks. The support Team as always been very responsive and helpful. When our subscription became marginally outstretched by the amount of content we have to analyse, they quickly came up with options to improve our setup and also offered a fair solution to enable a full scan of our website. **What do you dislike about Silktide?** A full scan of our website is fairly long (5h) but as we are running it only monthly we don't worry about it too much. It sometimes, take a few clicks to reach the bottom level of an issue, but again it's not a major issue. **What problems is Silktide solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our business was looking for a platform that would enable us to monitor our content’s accessibility in line with WCAG requirements. The automated checks are a game changer and have helped with the organisation's website which is in a period of transition with many changes happening all at once. Building reports that are sent out weekly has helped our relatively small team keep track of our content whilst being proactive with our changes by briefing in our developers to make implementations that fall outside of our expertise. Coming from a background where accessibility is scarcely considered online, the tutorials provided by Silktide highlight why it is important. Aside from being able to search for tips on the platform our team has loved the support from our consultant, Clarence Arimado. It's been exemplary and helped us put into practice different techniques to maximise how we use Silktide. He's also humoured our questions and provided ad hoc support when we've been tripped up by the more technical checks completed by Silktide. **What do you dislike about Silktide?** If there was a downside it would be the complexity of some features such as policies; however, this is be no means a bad thing. One of the features that is really helpful is the Academy courses. This allows us to require training of our Content Editors, especially accessibility. It measures with built-in quizzes as well as provides reporting as to who has completed the courses. Another feature that is really nice is the real-time desktop and mobile renditions that show issues. AI is a great feature, too, that provides technical solutions to accessibility and other issues. Additionally, we have real-time analytics, CMS integration, and very handy heatmaps. Overall, this program is comprehensive with a dashboard that is user-centric. Its such a useful feature to be able to find a word, term, link etc across our whole web service. We have thousands of pages and without a service like Silktide it would be almost impossible to find all occurences of a given term and replace them when needed. **What do you dislike about Silktide?** Its sometimes a little bit unclear when a policy has or hasn't run yet. There have been times when I've set something up that hasn't produced results and I'm not sure if there are no results or if the crawl for the policy isn't complete. **What problems is Silktide solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is providing us with an easy to use tool that highlights areas in which we can improve accessibility accross our vast web presence. We have a team of dedicated Web Content editors who are very familiar with web accessibility principles and the site is a useful tool for these team members to ensure they stay on track with these principles. But as well as these core content editors, there are members of staff accross our organisation (a University) who edit their own pages and for whom web isn't the key focus of their role and therefore web accessibility principles aren't nescessarily something they are familiar with. Silktide allows us to provide access to these members of staff and through an easy to understand interface and a robust set of tutorials in the Silktide academy, allows these members of staff who have less familiarity with web accessibility to quickly get to grips with ways they can make their content more accessible. ### 14. It also sheds light on opportunities that might otherwise be missed (keyword performance, review of technical SEO checks, etc.). The Checks page is very helpful for quickly cleaning up a site, and makes it super easy to follow along. The short discreptions of why somehing is an issue also helps me learn why we do certain things. **What do you dislike about Silktide?** I don't like how sometimes when I'm fixing things silktide tells me to fix, and I upload my changes to the live site, when I retest on silktide it doesn't usually update right away. I am in my dashboard daily, and connecting directly to the Wordpress sites is helpful too. The information is targeted, and Silktide updates as you fix things. **What do you dislike about Silktide?** The levels of issues it finds are a bit unclear and sometimes make it difficult to determine what are the most important things to fix. I'm sure if I looked more into the help files, I would be able to better understand these distinctions. **What problems is Silktide solving and how is that benefiting you?** Silktide helps our school to be more compliant with the different sites the rest of the university maintains.
