"Ease of Use with Room for Modernization"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I like the fact that the Webexpenses mobile app is easy to use and just lets you upload the image straight into unallocated invoices. I can then go on to the browser version and complete the process. It saves me time, saves me from duplicating work, and I don't have to look for those invoices or receipts from the past. This way, it saves me from losing out on money. The setup was also very straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I find the user interface a bit dated now. I've used Expensify and other apps in the past, and I think Webexpenses could do with a refresh. The mobile app also could be further enhanced to be more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Clear Design with Reliable Uptime"
4/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

It’s simple to use and pretty much explains itself. The design is easy on the eyes, and everything feels clear and straightforward. It never seems to be down. My only frustration is that single-sign-on is hidden behind a paywall. Using basic security standards as an excuse to make more money is a bad image for a company to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

My only real frustration is that SSO is hidden behind a paywall. For a long time, it felt like the standard approach, and companies charging extra for basic security was accepted for far too long. These days, though, companies get named and shamed for it and often end up backing down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Expense Management but Occasional Crashes"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I really like the user interface of Webexpenses. Overall, the platform is designed to make it really easy to use, which I like. It does a fantastic job at logging everything in a clear and coherent manner, making sure everyone has a clear understanding of who approves and who makes payments. It keeps us very much organized and accountable for our expenses because we need to log certain details like categories, cost, address postcode, and receipts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I sometimes experience crashes when I upload images or photographs of receipts. It's not great because if things aren't saved, it can log me out of the system, and I have to start the expense process again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Expense Management On-The-Go"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I like having Webexpenses on my phone because it makes managing expenses much easier. The app recognizes important details from bills, like the date and amount, so I don't have to fill them out manually. I can just take a photo, and it straight away sets up the information when I check and confirm it. This feature really simplifies my expense reporting process. It also provides a useful history of my expenses on the desktop, making it easy to track what I've spent money on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I feel it's harder to see your history on the mobile app. Also, the scanning sometimes is a bit tough, but that's okay. Nothing really that major. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A step in the direction for automation, but a clunky UI fails to eliminate user fatigue"
3/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

it has fields for everything so can be very detailed. automatic exchange rate functionality is great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

UI is super clunky, doesn't feel smooth at all. Expenses is a tiresome process and should be all about eliminating user fatigue and UI is a big part of this. Not sure if this is a company thing but AI reading receipts should really be in there particularly for value, VAT and currency. Also should be an automatic integrated share to iphone app from the photo folder so take a photo and instantly share it to the app rather than having to go into the app to take the photo or add the receipt Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Expense Management, Brilliant Accessibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I really like that Webexpenses is easy and simple to use. Having both the app and the website is a good addition, allowing me to use it on the go and in the office. It's easily accessible, which means I can choose which platform to use, making it easier for me. It also ensures that managing expenses isn't an overbearing task, allowing me to complete them quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I feel that sometimes important receipts can be a little bit clunky. I would prefer having the option to add and save receipts at the bottom of the form more intuitively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Software with Clear, Easy-to-Follow Information"
4/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

It’s very user-friendly, and the information is presented clearly. I’m only a front-end user, so I’m not sure how far the software’s capabilities extend, but my experience with it has been great so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I do forget how to use it from time to time, especially if its been a while since I've entered something in. But that's a learning curve. Uploading receipts is a bit of a nightmare at times, making sure to save the claim before adding the receipt is a tedious step, especially if you lose all the information if you don't save. "Clumsy UI and Cumbersome Receipt Entry Make Editing a Struggle"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

It displays information clearly, and it’s nice that there’s an accompanying app as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

The UI is clumsy, frequently needs to be reloaded, its very difficult to find receipts and edit them, the AI for recognizing receipts must be from the 90’s as it almost never gets the information correct, there is no way to bulk edit items and the process to get the information in is extremely cumbersome. "Simple, Intuitive Expense Tracking with Easy Receipt Matching"
4/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

It’s simple to use and navigate. The interface is intuitive, and receipts are easy to match and upload to expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

You can’t upload receipts on behalf of other users. It would be really helpful if you could upload receipts for other team members’ credit cards, and then they could attach them to the right expense and approve as needed. We do have a proxy setting, but acting as a proxy gives you full access to all credit card expenses for that team member, which isn’t ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Expense Management with Powerful Automation and Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

What I like best about Webexpenses is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is, especially when it comes to submitting and managing expense claims. The interface is clean and straightforward, which makes it easy to upload receipts, categorize expenses, and track submissions without needing extensive training. This simplicity saves time and reduces the frustration often associated with expense reporting.

Another standout feature is the mobile app functionality. Being able to capture receipts on the go and submit expenses in real time is incredibly convenient, particularly for employees who travel frequently or work remotely. It eliminates the need to keep track of paper receipts and ensures expenses are recorded accurately and promptly.

I also appreciate the automation features, such as policy compliance checks and approval workflows. These help ensure that claims are processed efficiently and in line with company policies, reducing back-and-forth between employees and approvers. The system’s transparency—allowing users to see the status of their claims at any time—is another major benefit.

Finally, the reporting and integration capabilities add significant value. Finance teams can easily generate detailed reports, and the platform integrates well with accounting systems, streamlining the overall expense management process. Overall, Webexpenses strikes a great balance between ease of use and robust functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

One of the main drawbacks of Webexpenses is that, while the platform is generally user-friendly, some of the more advanced features can feel unintuitive or difficult to navigate at first. Tasks like editing submitted claims, managing complex expense categories, or customizing reports can require extra steps that aren’t always obvious, leading to a bit of a learning curve for new users.

Another issue is the occasional lag or slow performance, particularly when uploading multiple receipts or working with large claims. This can be frustrating, especially for users who rely on the system frequently or are trying to submit expenses quickly while on the go.

The mobile app, although convenient, can also be somewhat limited compared to the desktop version. Certain functions are not as easily accessible or require switching to the web platform, which reduces the overall efficiency of using the app alone.

Additionally, error messages and system feedback aren’t always very clear. When something goes wrong - such as a failed upload or a rejected claim - the explanations can be vague, making it harder for users to quickly understand and resolve the issue.

Finally, customisation options for companies can feel somewhat restricted. While it covers most standard needs, organisations with more complex expense policies or reporting requirements may find it less flexible than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
