"Fast, Easy-to-Use UI with Flexible Mileage and Route Editing"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I like how easy the UI is to use. It really helps to be able to use features like mileage, have it calculate estimated miles based on the trip, and then actually edit the route to match the way you went.

It’s also extremely easy to submit, approve, and handle everything in the app, and it integrates well with payment systems.

It’s fast, straightforward to use, and doesn’t require an amazing network connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

The UI is a little plain, and I think the route planner could use some improvements. For example, integrating with the Google Maps API could offer 2–3 different route options to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Claim Status Dashboard, But the Design Feels Outdated"
3/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

It does what it have to do... It's pretty simple to see the dashboard in the first screen, literally when I access the platform I can see my claim status. But to be honest, that's all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

To be fair, the design is terrible, the platform looks like was made in the 80s and was never reviewed. I don't know if it's something from my company (we only use Webexpenses for reimbursements) or it's from Webexpenses side, but it's not intuitive. It's clear how to START the claim process, but that's all, after it starts, it's not 100% clear what we should do, what we should not. The experience of attaching a receipt is even worst, every single time I got lost in the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Receipt Uploads and Helpful Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I'm able to upload expenses as images and from there Web expenses can automatically take some of the data and match the receipt to what I'm inputting. I also had an experience where I needed to contact the support team and they were very useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

The only thing that I dislike about web expenses is that it has the tendency to log me out when I'm working on expenses, so if I go away and grab a receipt from online, by the time I've done that and I'm back it would have logged me out and I will need to re-sign in Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Mileage Tracking and Submission"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I use Webexpenses for tracking my mileage when traveling, and it really makes it easier for me because I don't have to do it manually. I like that it's simple and easy to use, which is important for me. It's also easy to submit my mileage reports to my company, and it’s easy to understand. The initial setup was pretty simple, and everything with Webexpenses works well for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

The biggest frustration has been the lack of visibility into the approval process. Expense reports can remain pending for extended periods, and there isn't enough transparency about where they are in the workflow or why they're delayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great claim-saving features, but mileage favorites feel too limited"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

When I submit car mileage, I can select “return,” which saves me from having to enter the address again. I also like that I can quickly move items into new claims without losing any of the claim details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

This may already be a feature, but I mostly claim car mileage and it only lets me save a few favourite locations. When I’m travelling to multiple sites, I have to keep copying and pasting the postcodes and then amend the route each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Webexpenses Brings Structure, Transparency, and Smoother Expense Approvals"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

The biggest upsides of Webexpenses are improved organization, greater transparency, and a more efficient approval process. Employees know what information they need to provide, managers receive complete and consistent submissions, and finance teams have a reliable record of expenses and approvals.

It also improves accountability because every claim has a documented submission and approval history. Receipts and explanations remain connected to the corresponding expense, making it easier to review a claim later. This can reduce misunderstandings and minimize delays caused by missing information.

Overall, Webexpenses is a valuable platform for organizations that want a structured and dependable way to manage employee expenses. Its greatest strength is that it simplifies the process without removing the controls required by managers and finance departments. It makes submitting expenses easier for employees, reviewing them easier for managers, and maintaining accurate records easier for the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

The least helpful aspect of Webexpenses is that it can be somewhat unintuitive when first learning how to use it. Creating claims, attaching receipts, and understanding the submission process may take some time to get used to. Some tasks can also require more steps than expected, and the layout or status labels are not always immediately clear. However, once users become familiar with the system, it becomes much easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jasmine Ricketts of Webexpenses

Hi, thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review!

It's fantastic to hear that Webexpenses is bringing that level of structure, transparency, and accountability to your expense process, and that it's working well for employees, managers, and finance teams alike. Keeping receipts and explanations connected to each claim, with a clear submission and approval history, is exactly the kind of reliability we want to offer.

We also really appreciate the honest feedback on the learning curve. Getting used to creating claims and understanding the submission process can take a bit of time at first, and it's helpful to know where things feel less intuitive early on. We're always looking at ways to make onboarding smoother, so this is genuinely useful for us.

Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed thoughts.

Best wishes,

Jasmine

"Effortless Expense Management with Minor Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I love Webexpenses because it makes it easier to claim my expenses with no fuss. It's easy to add receipts, and I appreciate how straightforward it is to choose what type of expenses apply, add it all, and send it for approval. It takes me no time at all to add my expenses, and I can add receipts prior to submitting in case I lose them, adding them on when I have a chunk of expenses to do. The initial setup was very easy, which I found convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I find it sometimes lags a little bit, and I think it could be easier to edit an expense when it gets rejected. It just seems like a very long-winded way to do it, and if you could just edit the one bit that was rejected, it would be a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Interface but Mapping Needs Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I use Webexpenses for submitting expense reports for travel, equipment, etc., at my corporate job. It allows me to keep track of and archive company-related expenses relatively easily. Once familiar with it, the interface is pretty intuitive and easy to use. Picking from drop-down menus and entering info is straightforward and logical. I was able to log in and start using it right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

The 'mapping function' for calculating driving distance for mileage reimbursement is not great. I entered my work address, but the map is incorrect; the location it picks is not the correct one. It also forces me to select the shortest-distance route, which leads to using toll roads that I would rather avoid due to the cost. When I try to drag the route to change it, the map seems to malfunction, suggesting inefficient routes. This is frustrating.

I also have some recurring / monthly expenses; it would be nice to get them automated, so I dont have to manually enter every time they hit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Webexpenses Makes Receipt and Expense Reporting Fast, Intuitive, and Hassle-Free"
5/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

Webexpenses makes managing receipts and expense reports straightforward and efficient. Uploading receipts is quick, the interface is intuitive, and tracking approval status in real-time saves a lot of hassle compared to manual tracking. It's very easy to navigate and allows quick submission of receipts on the go. Approvals are fast, and the overall layout is clean. Does a great job with core expense tracking and routing approvals through the right channels smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

Occasionally, the OCR receipt scanner might miss a small detail if the receipt photo is blurry, requiring a quick manual edit, but it’s rarely an issue. Minor navigation quirks on mobile, but nothing that gets in the way of day-to-day use. The user interface could feel a bit more modern, and navigating through bulk entries can sometimes take an extra click or two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Autosave and Flexible Receipt Uploads Make Expense Reports Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Webexpenses?

I like that I have rarely experienced any kind of tech issues or crashing on the WebEx platform. I appreciate that it autosaves and I can return to expense reports multiple times over a period of time instead of having to do it all at once. I also appreciate that there is an app and multiple ways to upload and store my receipts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webexpenses?

I wish that the user interface had a better flow to it to easily swap between expenses and compare them without having to reload the full window. I'd also appreciate a smoother in-app experience from mobile as someone who travels for work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
