I like that Signal AI is easy to use and has a vast amount of source material. The new features are well thought out and our group enjoys the ability to participate in beta testing. Their customer service is excellent and they have been eager to work on initiatives with us. I also appreciate that Ask AIQ provides a tool that only uses trusted and valid websites, which is extremely beneficial. I find Signal AI to be very user-friendly. It's easy to put together searches and see the results. I like the insights section because it lays out the data in very visual, clear ways to break it down. When I put together takeaway reports for key announcements, I really like to use those charts because they show the breakdown of certain statistics and data points that Signal AI pulls. And without knowing too much about the platform, it's easy to go in and pull a report or have a colleague do so without having to undergo comprehensive training. I like the media capture capability of Signal AI, especially being able to set time boundaries around when the media capture happens. Tagging things, particularly tagging individual brands and finding individual brand mentions, is the most useful stuff for me. Sometimes it is a little bit technical to set things up. There are probably some features that would be useful for me, but I either don't know about them or don't know how to use them because it's slightly too technical. I like how Signal AI allows my team to cross-analyze topics with companies and people, and apply filters for geography and timeframes. Signal AI isn't the most intuitive; I usually have to reach out directly to a Signal AI rep to help me get a search set up. It would also be very helpful if the tool could reach more publications. I use Signal AI for media monitoring, media analysis, and breaking news updates. The quick searches are a super quick way to see new coverage of my clients at a glance, and the ability to select articles mentioning a keyword in the headline or first paragraph is incredibly helpful in determining relevance. I also appreciate features like sorting by companies mentioned, geographies, or topic groupings. Additionally, using RSS to feed Signal searches into Slack works well. Would be amazing if I could build more accurate searches to allow me to refine things even more. The software can sometimes be slow and feel clunky to use. Additionally, it often misses updates from major media outlets like the BBC when journalists revise their stories. It can also clog up with syndicated versions of stories in far flung countries, rather than providing easy access to the original story (e.g. one posted on Reuters that then goes far and wide, finding that original Reuters story can be tricky.)
