**What do you like best about Sign In Solutions?**

What I like most about SwipeOn is how easy it makes visitor check-in and access control. Instead of using paper registers or spreadsheets, everything is handled digitally and in real time. The QR code and badge-based check-in process is very smooth. Visitors can check in quickly without waiting at reception, which creates a good first impression. I like that all visitor data is stored securely in one place, so it's easy to look up who visited when and for what purpose. The dashboard is simple and clean, making it easy for front desk staff and admins to use without much training. It helps maintain better security because access is controlled and tracked instead of being open or informal. Another good thing is the notification system. Hosts get notified immediately when their visitor arrives. It also supports preregistration, which saves time during busy hours.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

One thing I dislike is that advanced customization options are limited. especially for branding or workflows. For very large organizations, managing multiple locations could be more flexible. Sometimes the system depends heavily on internet connectivity, which can be a problem during outages. Reporting features are useful but could be more detailed, especially for audits. There can be a learning curve for older staff who are not comfortable with digital tools. Hardware integration options could be expanded. Occasionally, the interface feels too basic for power users.

I like the HMI and Alerting features of Sign In Solutions. They allow me to have control over who is on my site, which is really important. Knowing who is signing in and out as it happens, gives me real-time information, which is crucial for managing the site. The system's ease of use for contractors is also a significant benefit, as it helps maintain the whole system efficiently. Additionally, I appreciate that I can know who is onsite and what company they are from, which helps with safety and tracking hours worked.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

I wish there was the ability to add alerts to specific people or companies when employees sign in. My IT team had to make some tweaks to make the system work properly, which implies it wasn't perfectly smooth out of the box.

the interface is extremely intuitive, making it simple for both visitors and staff to use. Setting it up was straightforward, and the integration with badge printers allows us to issue visitor IDs quickly. I also appreciate the modern design—it looks professional and clean, which gives visitors a positive first impression. SwipedOn’s real time tracking of visitors is a major benefit. Knowing exactly who is in the building at any time greatly enhances security and helps with compliance requirements. The automatic notifications to hosts when their guests arrive save staff time and reduce confusion. Simplicity and WYSIWYG.  The platform and the iPad apps are simple and are easy to learn with very little training.

One element is that in order to see your design, you need an iPad while building the experience.  There is no way to preview in the browser.

If you are looking for simple but complete visitor management system, Traction Guest is the right solution.  Not only is the product fantastic, the sales and support team are great!

SwipedOn provides a professional reception experience for our vistors and is so easy for them to use.
The notifications ensure that our team know immediately when their visitors have arrived. The ability to have visitors read our helath and safety information and policy and sign to confirm, is great for ensuring that vistors have recieved the required information as soon as they arrive.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

Very little in the way to say about downsides to the system, it is a vast improvement to the old style visitor sign in books and much more professional.
The only feature I would like to see is the ability for all employees to pre-register their own visitorsrather than relying on an admin to do this

Ensuring that we know who is on our site at all times, this is  important for site security and safetry and is especially helpful in the event of a fire drill or evacuation

**What do you like best about Sign In Solutions?**

The devs have made a lot of improvements over the years, and the standard sign in/out experience is very easy to manage and complete.   You can also make the sign in process more robust if required, and the employee check in feature is a good thing to have.  Set up is a breeze, and the main thing to consider is where and how you want your check in devices displayed since there are a lot of third party options to consider in this regard.   Customer support is generally responsive, even for lower-tier service users.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

There are a number of paid add on services that might be useful to larger companies, but for the most part these add ons would likely be an unnecessary expense for smaller companies that don't have large offices or multiple locations.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have not experienced any issues with the app for some time, and the improvements that have been made to the staff sign-in experience have gone a long way in this regard.

Its standout feature is the seamless integration with label printers, which enhances efficiency and professionalism in managing visitor badges.

The integration with label printers makes it easy to setup and once its setup you do not need to change anything.

SwipedOn is very easy to use and was easy to set up on our iPads and through their online portal.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

I believe when the SwipedOn app auto-updates on the iPads, when it launches again, you have to manually select the pad ID before it is active again.  I walk past them when I come into the building in the morning and they're just sitting there waiting for someone to sign them in again.  Also, I had to find a way to lock down the iPads so that people couldn't close out of the SwipedOn app and do other things.  Suggestions on how to do so weren't provided as part of the setup process.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We replaced an old, manual, paper and pen-based sign in process with SwipedOn.  This makes our company look more technologically advanced (which we already were in most other areas) to visitors, and removes this workload from someone acting as a receptionist.

**What do you like best about Sign In Solutions?**

Versatile and easy to use, I don't need to sit and explain a step by step process to a new admin / location manager.  It's so easy to use that they just need access and a few points on where to find certain features, from there on I have very few requests for assistance.

I find SwipedOn very proactive, I get an email or a phone call and an offer for a discount on the upcoming renewal, which is always welcome.

A lot of amazing options that when we first signed up where extra cost, now included in the subscription with no extra fees.

From the first implementation at our Corporate head office, we now have this set up at four of our five offices, which is used on a daily basis for our employees and visitors.  Employees can easily move between offices, sites and locations.

This is now strongly intergrated within our safety policy's and procedures, emergency evacuations are seamless in checking off.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

I can honestly say that we have not had any negative feedback from the sites who actively use this system on a regular basis.  I had one site that due to the personal preferences of the senior management didn't want to move away from the process they had been using for many years.  It is possible with a change of management this attitude may change and we can get them on board as well.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SwipedOn has been able to help us identify and track any visitors to site, with just a few programmed questions we have also been able to check if the visitor is a contractor to perform work and therefore highlights a requriement for us to check their induction status, reducing the risk to ourselves and the people visiting our site.

It's also helped making sure that the hosts being visited are getting timely notifications of the arrivals, which in turns reduces the requirement of the reception desk needing to be manned during all work hours.

**What do you like best about Sign In Solutions?**

We have been using SwipedOn for some time now as we are required to keep a log for CT-PAT compliance. SwipedOn is easy to use and it takes their picture and prints out stick on badges when complete the sign in.  They can select which employee they are visiting and this is all logged in the cloud.  In the case of evacuation, you can grab the iPad and take it with ypou and use the Evacuation function for a checklist of visitors.  The visitors can even use the badge to sign out as the iPad will see the badge and pull their info up for them to sign out.  We usew SwipedOn every day of the week and it has been quite flawless.

We now implemented it for employees as well so we can have them on the Evacuation list as well.  The SwipedOn app allows  employees to be automatically logged in based on proximity to our location (within 100m) and this works quite well.  If they do not want to use the location services always, they can open the app and it will then use location to log them on. If they don't want any location services to be used then they can open the app and take a picture of the barcode showing on the iPad. If they do not want to use thier device at all then they can log in at the iPad easily using the Employee button and searchng thier name.

The system has been extremely easy to implement and SwipedOn customer support is also very responsive and they are open to suggestions as well.  It also integrated easily with our Active Directory.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

I would like to see facial recognition to auto log employees in and out if this is possible on an iPad for example.  I would like to see a little more granularity on the proximity, but this could be a device limitation anyways.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed visitor logging in and out for CT-PAT compliance and now for our Health & Safety comittee for both visitors and employees, we now have an attendance record to look at in case of emergency.

The SwipedOn system not only makes it easier for staff to track arrival of guests, but it also gives a professional first impression to visitors as well as meeting fire safety requirements, all without the use of paper!

As we are a manufacturing company with a big site and staff scattered across the whole area, SwipedOn's ability to send a text message and an email when a visitor arrives is the most helpful. The 2nd best feature of SwipedON is the induction. We have been able to get rid of a PC table, mouse, and keyboard for inductions to an Induction on Ipad. This is an immaculate way of doing inductions and gives a good impression to our visitors.

The SwipedOn's UI for induction is not the best. It would have been better if SwipedON could introduce Face IDs or Access Cards for Employee Logins. This would quicken the process for everyday employees

Communication, Data Keeping and Induction are the three main things we benefit in from SwipedON. Communication from the Visitor to appropriate Staff member reduces the wait time for the visitor. Data Keeping of the Employee and Visitor sign in helps us. Inductions have moved to an Ipad instead of a manualregister.

It simply does everything I need it to do, and members of my organisation and visitors have commented on how simple it is to use. No one wants a complex sign-in system when the foyer is full of visitors.

Add to that, I've customised it with our logo so it looks like we built it ourselves.

The automation of the system is really critical and the reason we decided to go with TractionGuest.
Also the support is spot on, very attentive, accomodating, and also knowledgeable.

No Copy and paste function in experience
No way to collect vaccine information before visit; Visitor needs to make the trip to then sometimes be rejected by criteria. 
No way for visitors to upload their vaccine card/drivers license; external scanner needs to be manned by staff
Visuals aren't as customizable as originally expected; Directors didn't like the spacing of the logo but there was nothing we could do

Registration Portal is kind of a disaster for me; I was told it was production ready so I told my Directors about it and started to implement it.
However, I realized that it didn't have nearly the same features as the iPad and it would sometimes and on an error page when editing and signing up.
I just don't like how it's both in development and in production. Sounds to me like it's testing at the customer's expense.
Anyway, we pulled the Registration portal from the user experience and are going only with the iPad.

No Copy and paste function in experience!!!
Seriously, this is the one thing that would prevent me from recommending this product.
You need to see the tractionGuest@actorsfund.org current user experience...it's nuts.
It gets difficult to even read the experience at a certain point.

**Recommendations to others considering Sign In Solutions:**

Setting this thing up perfectly to how you want it will be extremely time consuming but also rewarding.
I mean, what's better than a system that runs itself? Just be sure to understand the entire workflow from both perspectives as there are some limitations; especially from the registration portal's side.

My company is avoiding the Registration portal, but with that said...TractionGuest does a great job of making it easy to integrate everything on the kiosk portion. From Outlook add-in for invites, to AD integrations for host uploads, they are utilizing common technologies to make traction more seemless. It makes me hopeful for the changes and developments to come.

User automation and email notification and the customization of the paths.
I would say productivity has definitely increased....everyone's except mine, hahaha.
It's really a great tool, but it needs to incorporate copy and paste in the experience.

I would really help if we could customize each iPad, depending on their location of the building. We have multiple entrances.

Keeping track of how many visitors are in the building and knowing who is still in the building during an emergency evacuation.

**What do you like best about Sign In Solutions?**

TG has a very simple management platform that allows anyone with practically no computer knowledge to get this up and running.
I've done my due diligence and can say that in comparison to other USA and CAN companies, TG has the advantage when it comes to several factors.
They have the most competitive prices in the industry.
Their solution offers tons of features and functionalities that come with the standard package and a lot more if you upgrade to the higher tiers of subscription levels.
Our company's data is not shared or saved in the USA, which is a must for us, a Canada-based company. Their office is based in British Columbia and our data server is located in Canada which is regulated under Canadian privacy law.
They provide 24/7 great online support. I don't like spending time on the phone, if I have the option to chat with a rep, I'll 100% take that option.

2022-04-13 Update: They have finally integrated the Teams notification and it does wonders! Everybody is on Teams, so it was a must feature to have and now that is online, I couldn't be more satisfied.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

I do not have much to say in this section. All of my needs are currently covered. They offer you the tools and give you access to their wiki which is great, perhaps an included personal customer manager would've been great.
The downside would be not having a human welcoming our visitor with a smile.

**Recommendations to others considering Sign In Solutions:**

Don't hesitate, I've done the research and as I mentioned previously if you are based in Canada you want to work with TG.

2022-04-13 Update: After several months of use, I can honestly say that I am really satisfied with my choice. This solution is a click and forget solution. All employees like having the notifications pop up in their Teams, Outlook and on their cellphone.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of the current situation with this pandemic, we had to let go few resources and the receptionist was one of them.
To cover part of her responsibilities we had to come up with a solution that allowed management of the visitors. TG helped us with exactly that. I can't say yet that this solution will be the long term solution to that specific need as most of our meetings are done online, but it's definitely looking good.

For companies that are interested, our highest tier, Traction Guest Complete, does come with a personal CSM and the option for a separate data instance. 

Still, there are many benefits to be reaped from the variety of other functionalities that are available on other tiers, and we are thrilled to hear that our options for data residency and the simplicity of our software for all levels of tech savviness have been helpful for your company. 

And while we do enable the automation of many aspects of visitor management so that people in your company can dedicate their time and efforts to other things, perhaps a theme background photo on the iPad app with one or a few staff members smiling and laughing might not be a bad idea!

I enjoyed SwipedOn for the ease to manage and setup the design of the display for the welcome page for the visitors.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

Well, the downside for me was that SwipedOn only has an iOS application. Well, I think an Andriod version of the SwipedOn is now available, So that clears my dislike.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially our visitors sign in to our business on paper and having SwipedOn now has streamlined the headache of paper sign-in. Plus we are able to download the visitor's log as a spreadsheet for record keeping.

The system is highly customizable.  Traction Guest allows us to modify and adjust visitor experiences when signing in that fit our needs perfectly.  We are able to collect all the information we need for any type of visitor that comes through our doors.

**What do you dislike about Sign In Solutions?**

Because of all the features that are available with Traction Guest, it can be challenging at first to know how to set things up correctly.  There is a bit of a learning curve when first setting up the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Sign In Solutions:**

Make sure you watch all the training videos that are offered on the Traction Guest site.  They are really helpful when first setting up the system.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traction Guest allows us to monitor and track all the people that come to our facility.  At any time, we can see who is on premises, how long they have been here, and when they leave.  It also gives us the ability to contact them electronically when needed even if they are not physically present.

I love hearing that our visitors like the system.  I especially like the ease of seeing who has signed in for the day at a glance.

Sometimes it takes a long time to log in - this was exacerbated during Covid with the amount of questions asked, but it was put in place to protect all staff.

**What problems is Sign In Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can see at a glance who has signed in and if they are still on the school grounds.  We can gauge how many visitors per day.

Love the notifications; it saves our front desk a lot of time tracking down employees to notify them of guest arrivals.

The system's a bit ackward to customize, and the technology can run slow.

First, we had a period we needed to have sign off on vaccination status. Swiped on helped us with that. Now we are past that period but the registration and notification abilities have created efficiencies.
