Run Away." 0/5 What do you like best about Sigmund AURA? I cannot think of any upsides. Any so called "savings" cannot be worth the living hell of being forced to use Aura. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Sigmund AURA? Sigmund Aura EMR greatly increases medication prescription errors. I am unable to prescribe albuterol using the software as it generates an error message about the units. The software does not remember if the medication is Brand or generic, and I have to ask my patient every visit. Aura does not keep good records of the last prescription, and if a medication is entered in error, it cannot be deleted, which causes the error to persist and leads to continued errors. The program forces one to enter times for meds to be taken; I am sorry, but I do not usually need to micromanage these things. When prescribing nicotine gum, having to click a time every half hour is well and truly ridiculous. I have used EPIC, Practice Fusion, Kareo, Office Ally, OneTouch, and other EMRs. Aura is the worst. Expensive Billing codes change on their own sporadically causing issues Implementation is not done properly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Sigmund AURA solving and how is that benefiting you? It is causing all of the problems my business has experienced since switching My company switched to Sigmund in July 2021. Our revenue, which had seen steady growth every month since 2016 , immediately plummeted in HALF. The program was never set up to bill correctly. They limit the number of people who can request support tickets and they make you pay for support and training. After begging the CEO for help for months to fix the billing situation, he suggested I switch to their billing company. I did- and the losses got worse. I am happy to share details of my story with anyone who is considering using Sigmund. Please feel free to email or call me. Even this week, all of our billing codes for the entire year changed overnight from 90837 individual therapy to residential therapy, triggering hundreds of denials and causing countless hours of work to change them back. The entire year (Jan to August). Aura is not intuitive to use. It is constantly going down, there are a million bugs in the software that inhibit the user experience. Sigmund Aura allows our office (an inpatient, substance abuse rehabilitation center) easy and seamless record management. When patients enter our facility, their intake is through multiple departments. Sigmund Aura allows each department to see the patient's records and previously entered information. It is far too easy to create a document in error and far too complicated to remove that document. The search feature is mainly ineffective and cumbersome; it is almost useless. Sigmund Aura makes it relatively easy to flag a patient's record for things like suicidal ideation, mental health concerns, existing physical ailments, and treatment history.
