# What are some tips for better report loading performance when joining multiple tables? Not sure how many users are in my boat where I'm inexperienced in database queries and optimizing them for performance. I created a few haphazard datasets that would take a very long time to load, and would love if there was an "Intro" primer of some sort for best practices and how to utilize features like links and materialization, as well as structuring datasets, ie. structure a schema of dataests as "facts" and "dimensions" for better performance and reusability ##### Post Metadata - Net upvotes: 1
