**What do you like best about Sightengine?**

It makes it easy to draw together a quick layout and generate a proposal. Once set up, it's very quick and easy to do things with it. Makes it pretty easy to generate a layout, it follows through the steps intuitively and is relatively easy to use once you have the basics figured out.

**What do you dislike about Sightengine?**

Their shading calculation is horrible, even adding an extra 10% shading to every project, it still over estimates production. Our company lost thousands of dollars last year because sighten software said a system would produce much more power than it actually did. It uses 2 year old thermal data to determine production, doesn't allow you to add obstructions that cause shade, such as trees, it only uses 2018 thermal images of a roof to determine where sun hits. Any changes in the last 2 years or if trees have grown? Then your production will be much lower than what it estimates. Even adding 10% shading to every array on every project is still sometimes not enough.

**What problems is Sightengine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it easy and quick to generate proposals. It's good at that part, but the generating data is so far off. 
Makes it easy to incorporate financing and make adjustments and changes. The project management workflow is fairly bad, doesn't do much of anything. Our company has never used it because it just doesn't have anywhere near enough features to make it viable to actually track projects.
