My favorite part about it is that it doesn’t bombard you with convoluted dashboards. It’s all neat, structured and accessible even for people who aren’t professional data jockeys. Performance-wise, it’s fast and stable. I haven’t run into any big bugs or crashes yet. Customer support is indeed quite responsive each time I had doubt, they replied with the right solution rather than just saying you might need help from a designer. **What do you dislike about Insights Hub?** It would be nice to have a little more customization available, especially for report designs. Its open source feel to its APIs is amazing and definitely helps rapid fire development of analysis and predictive tools. It also has great out of the box tools that are very useful and effective. The data framework is clean and straightforward to implement. The native connections to our onsite siemens automation equipment is very cohesive and smooth. **What do you dislike about Insights Hub?** The only thing that I dislike about Insights Hub is that I wish they had reached out to my company sooner such that I could start using the software earlier! **What problems is Insights Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are many ways in which Insights Hub has benefit our company and it would take too long to describe them all here-- so I focus on the most impactful thus far. The first being our energy savings. Using Insights Hub data and tools we have been able to optimize our installations for energy efficiency. Using Insights Hub to provide details and "insight" (haha) into our energy curves, we have reprogrammed our PLC and control systems software to run more efficiently. This optimization feedback loop of insight into PLC software upgrades provides continual improvement to our product! Another example is in the preventative maintenance sphere... We have used insights hub to predict the replacement of various components in various installations. This has been achieved through the use of vibration monitoring sensors and their corresponding vibration trends to predict failures of bearings and other rotating components. Even without writing code there are ways to digest and trend data. **What do you dislike about Insights Hub?** When looking at a data plot in the "Monitor" app, the raw vs. auto vs. aggregate view often leaves out important information. It would be nice if the plot could show the raw data plot over a longer time window. The aggregate view can leave out important spikes that are helpful in diagnosing an event. **What problems is Insights Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are having issues with our fan bearings. They are failing prematurely. With insights hub, we can record and trend vibration data to attempt to predict what fan bearing will fail next.
