It runs on Windows computers and covers the daily operation of a store: counter sales, cash register open and close, several payment methods, receipt printing and barcode scanning. Items can be added by EAN, ISBN, SKU or an internal code, and the built-in catalogue of more than 300,000 products fills in names, brands and images when there is a match. Stock control is central to the product. SICOVESTO tracks quantities per product and per location, supports bulk price updates, Excel imports and exports, and gives reorder alerts so the shop does not run out of the products that sell most. Customers, suppliers, quotes, delivery notes and store credit accounts are managed in the same application. For Argentina, SICOVESTO issues electronic invoices through ARCA, including A, B and C documents and non-fiscal receipts, and can look up a CUIT or DNI against the ARCA registry to complete billing data. In Uruguay the same Windows edition is available with prices in Uruguayan pesos, and fiscal requirements should be confirmed with the provider. The software also includes a price comparator that checks the local price against up to 37 Argentine supermarket chains, marketplaces and retail stores, so the shop can decide its own price with real references. Two editions are available: Multirrubro for general retailers such as grocery stores, hardware shops and kiosks, and the apparel edition, which handles size and colour variants and gift exchange receipts. Licensing is a one-off perpetual licence per computer, with no mandatory monthly subscription. The first year includes updates and the first month includes support, with a three-month warranty. A free seven-day trial is available without a credit card, and the software can run on several computers in the same local network, with one licence per PC. If the internet connection drops, local sales, stock and non-fiscal tickets keep working. SICOVESTO Nube is an optional web subscription that lets the owner consult sales, stock and reports from a browser. It complements the Windows application and does not replace PC sales and invoicing. Some optional AI features use Google Gemini and require the customer's own Google API key, so their use may generate external charges.
