"Great for New Teacher Growth"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

Sibme provides an excellent avenue for sharing content between teachers and coaches. This is especially helpful when working with new teachers because it provides a simple way to give just-in-time feedback for consideration. It also lets the new teacher get an accurate look at their reality rather than what they think is happening in the classroom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

Sibme really is versatile and there are so many facets to the program that it takes a while to get a handle on using it most efficiently. The professional learning offered by Sibme is vital to really getting the most out of what the program offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SIBME saved Student Teaching"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

SIBME is easy to use. Customer support rocks. I set up accounts and huddles, then sent training info. Supervisors and students use SIBME without needing my help. The video provides a more robust opportunity for reflection and feedback than traditional live in-class observations. Peer-to-peer feedback and the opportunity for teachers to view the lesson are additional bonuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

Occasionally we have students in areas with a limited internet connection, which can make video upload difficult. They would have difficulty using any program, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love Sibme!"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

Sibme is a great tool to assist college students with connecting book knowledge to everyday applications. Sibme allows students to gain a realistic picture of their skills and reflect on them. Instructors can coach students and share insightful feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

Honestly, it is hard to think of something I dislike. I'm a big fan. Sibme does have a reasonable fee. There is a learning curve to using all of the great features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sibme: An All-in-One Platform for Coaching"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

I love the fact that Sibme has such a variety of features for video coaching. Watching themselves on video can make teachers feel vulnerable, but Sibme lowers anxiety by allowing them to upload videos of themselves in a private space and share them when they feel ready. Coaches can’t be everywhere, and video is a way to capture moments we might otherwise miss.

I love the goal setting feature for PD: teachers set goals, collect evidence, and reflect on their learning.I also like the “library” where we can store video clips of our teachers using a variety of teaching strategies. Watching their colleagues use a strategy is powerful. When teachers watch videos from the internet they may say “our students can’t do that.” but when they see a strategy being used in their own school, they begin to see new possibilities.

The Sibme team is wonderful. They respond immediately to any questions we have and they are constantly listening to feedback in order to make changes to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

This is not a fault of Sibme, but It was hard to use video coaching while we were masking. Voices on video are often difficult to hear, but when they were muffled by masks it was almost impossible. Last year we tended to use Sibme more as a space to collect student artifacts of learning. Since we are moving into more student-centered coaching we will probably begin to use Sibme as a place to collect evidence of impact on student learning, rather than a place to watch teachers in action. "Easy to use"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

It's been helpful for our mentoring program because it gets people to observe their practice, which is not common here, so it has helped promote new ways of professional development.

Also, it is flexible, so you can adapt it's functions to what you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

Sometimes, it can be a little overwhelming for beginners since it has too many options that we still don't use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Professional Learning Platform that Serves as a Mirror, Window, and Door for Educators"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

The Sibme ("Seeing is Believing Me") Platform provides a secure platform for self-reflection, collaboration, and coaching using video, resources, and goal-setting. Time-annotated video, discussion boards, a resource hub, a library you can build, and on-demand professional learning modules are just a few things this platform provides to educators. Teachers seeing themselves and their colleagues teach and collaborating around that work are two of the most underutilized, yet most powerful forms of professional learning that exist. The platform is intuitive and easy to use so learning how to use it is quick and easy. Support both through their help desk and customer service managers is also easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

Video is vulnerable work, so sometimes getting people to see the value of it at first can be challenging to get people onboard. Their trust in the person recommending video self-reflection, coaching, and collaboration will often be the deciding factor. While that is not the fault of Sibme, it is something that makes it challenging when you recommend it to others who have not experienced the power of video in educational learning.

I also wish their portfolio goal-setting piece was a little less cumbersome to use and a little more visual. Part of that has to do with the fact that the other pieces of the platform are so easy to use and intuitive, that it takes some adjustment to use that one piece of the platform. "Sibme is a game changer in my work life!"
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

Efficiency and convenience of sharing uploading, clipping, and sharing videos. The ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality. The ability to not take up space on my personal device or my students' devices.

The ability to record without Wifi. Most importantly, the opportunity for my students to see the current reality of their classroom and reflect using comments and receiving timestamped feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

Not sure at this time. The goals feature was something that I thought needed improvement, but I think it has been improved since I used it 8 months ago. I see that templates have been added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I have used SibMe to get a clear reality of what is happening in my teachers classrooms."
5/5
What do you like best about Sibme?

Being able to leave timestamped comments has helped my teachers see exactly where their instruction can be improved. Teachers have appreciated the comments! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sibme?

One downside for me is maybe being too dependent on SibMe. For example, not correcting the teacher right after the lesson occurred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
