"Dependable Stock Platform For Creative Needs"
4/5
What do you like best about Shutterstock?

What I like best about Shutterstock is the depth and quality of its content library. It’s incredibly helpful to have such a vast range of high-quality images, videos, and vectors available on demand - especially when supporting clients across different industries and creative needs. The search functionality and filtering options make it easy to find visuals that fit a brand’s tone or campaign direction quickly. Having reliable, on-brand creative assets accessible at any time streamlines collaboration between teams and helps us deliver polished, visually engaging presentations and marketing materials without delays. What do you dislike about Shutterstock?

What I dislike about Shutterstock is that the licensing structure and credit system can sometimes feel a bit rigid, especially when managing multiple client projects with varying content needs. It would be helpful to have more flexible subscription options or clearer usage rights for agencies that handle a high volume of creative assets. Additionally, while the library is extensive, finding truly unique or less “stock-looking” visuals can occasionally take extra time, especially for niche campaigns that need a more authentic or specific visual style. "Solid library, smooth experience, could be a bit friendlier on pricing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Shutterstock?

Honestly, the sheer variety is what keeps me coming back. Whether I need super specific stock photos, crisp vectors, or quick video clips, I usually find exactly what I’m looking for. The search filters are pretty intuitive too, so I don’t have to spend ages digging around. It just makes the whole creative process faster.

Integration’s pretty smooth — it plugs into most of my tools without any hassle, so grabbing assets while I work feels seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shutterstock?

The pricing can get a bit steep, especially if you just need a few assets here and there. Also, sometimes older images feel a bit “stocky” or outdated, so I have to sift a bit to find something fresh. A more flexible credit system or better bundles would make a big difference. "An excellent image platform with a vast range of options and graphics"
5/5
What do you like best about Shutterstock?

The fact that it has images, videos, music, AND 3D objects all in the same app, making it easy to work end-to-end on a project and have all of your content in a single source. We use this almost every day for content and creatives. Getting started is as easy as logging in and running a search for material relevant to your content requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shutterstock?

Takes some time to get a hang of the search function and how certain keywords can you get you the right content. Billing also seems predatory, if you accidentally end up with a yearly plan, there is a huge cancellation fee that seems unethical and in bad taste. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Creative Assets, Could Be Easier to Use"

What do you like best about Shutterstock?

Shutterstock offers an extensive collection of high-quality photos, vectors, and videos. I consistently find resources that suit my projects, and the search filters help me quickly narrow down my options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shutterstock?

The cost can accumulate rather fast for those who only use the service occasionally, and the licensing information is not always completely transparent. I also find myself wishing the interface was a bit more user-friendly, especially when it comes to handling downloads or managing credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Experience with This Software"
4/5
What do you like best about Shutterstock?

Shutterstock’s ease of use stands out right away—the clean and intuitive interface makes finding and downloading high-quality images and videos really simple. The search filters are powerful, which helps me quickly narrow down exactly what I need. I also appreciate how frequently I use it; it’s become my go-to resource for visuals in presentations, marketing, and design work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shutterstock?

Shutterstock's pricing can be a little high, particularly for smaller projects or infrequent users, even though integrating it into my workflow was easy and didn't require any special training. Although customer service is usually quick to respond, it can occasionally take some time to receive assistance with billing or licensing inquiries. Also, while the integration options are good, a few advanced integrations could be more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
