I find that many of the images are of good quality and may be easily modified if required. A feature that I really like is the search similar tool, which allows users to click and drag photos onto the webpage and it will instantly provide you with images which has the same color combinations and features as the images you've selected. There is a decent range of styles, personalities, and other things to see. I appreciate the fact that there are some excellent svg files and prototypes available, which can be easily modified and converted into anything I want. Its a scam, they take you money for no reason **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Luke C. | Lead designer **Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021 **What do you like best about Shutterstock?** So they get you by saying sign up for free for a month, then they automatically sign you up for a full years worth of contracted monthly payments, if you want to cancel your subscription, you have to pay a percentage of the yearly fee that you get off by choosing yearly subscription(10), so in essence, I paid about 30 dollars for a month which only got me 10 downloads :( and then I had to pay another 20 dollars for the cancellation fee, I was not able to remove my card details from the Shutterstock website, and I had to deal with their help center and tell them to cancel it. Now compare this to adobe stock, where I haven't even paid 1 dollar for anything, and I've been using it for over a year. Shutterstock does not deserve this review or my money. I highly recommend that you don't use Shutterstock for these reasons, adobe stock is just as good. **What do you dislike about Shutterstock?** The fact that they make you put your card details on the website so they can immediately take your money and if you want to cancel you have to pay. Totally unacceptable why must I pay for something I didn't even want? The site also offers vector illustrations along with image formats. **What do you dislike about Shutterstock?** I really wish that Shutterstock offered Photoshop PSD files, it does offer files in vector format but when starting out as a designer, many only have photoshop and not the full Adobe package. At the end of that 2 years, we asked for a short term renewal, because our product was being discontinued. They sent a pay-as-you-go contract, and we signed it. A month later, after our new contract has started, they decided they were not going to honor it. They wanted an extra $6,000. We said if they weren't going to honor their own contract, we wouldn't continue the partnership, and they turned off the integration that day, which was a holiday in the US. Which were few, admittedly, but they always had a great selection. **What do you dislike about Shutterstock?** Back in October I thought I was signing up for a one-month subscription. This was all I needed for the project I was working on. 1 month. 10 images. BUT i apparently signed up for a year. When I contacted ShutterStock about the mistake the said they could only cancel the subscription if i agreed to pay an additional $100 at the time of my requests. It has now been 5 months and they have charged me $145. So I tried again today to get the subscription canceled. They are still wanting a $100, which I dont have, to end the subscription. I work freelance and money come in and weird times. I cant believe a company like this would not cancel my subscription at least at the 6 month point when Im obviously not using it!! **What problems is Shutterstock solving and how is that benefiting you?** No resolution. They just want more money to end the subscription which I can not afford. ### 25.
