Since 2015, we've helped established DTC and ecommerce brands migrate, optimize, and scale Shopify stores. We typically work with merchants doing $500K+ in annual revenue that have outgrown their existing platform, theme, technical setup, or development partner. Our migration experience includes catalogs with more than 10,000 SKUs, with a focus on protecting organic visibility, conversion performance, analytics, integrations, and customer experience throughout cutover. Our team works end to end across custom Liquid theme development, Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs, third-party integrations, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, analytics, CRO, and ongoing Shopify engineering. Shugert is a senior, hands-on engineering team. Clients work directly with the people responsible for strategy, development, optimization, and launch rather than through layers of account management and outsourced delivery. Common Shopify Use Cases Platform migrations to Shopify or Shopify Plus We help ecommerce brands migrate from legacy platforms, custom ecommerce stacks, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and other platforms to Shopify or Shopify Plus. Our migration process covers product and customer data, redirects, SEO preservation, analytics, integrations, theme development, and launch validation. Shopify redesigns and theme rebuilds For merchants that have outgrown an existing theme or accumulated years of technical debt, we rebuild Shopify storefronts around performance, maintainability, conversion, accessibility, and brand requirements. Shopify performance and Core Web Vitals We diagnose and improve slow Shopify stores, including Liquid bottlenecks, excessive JavaScript, third-party app impact, image delivery, rendering performance, and Core Web Vitals issues without unnecessarily sacrificing functionality. Conversion rate optimization We improve product pages, collection pages, navigation, cart experiences, merchandising, and checkout journeys using analytics, behavioral data, testing, and Shopify development rather than cosmetic redesign alone. Technical SEO for Shopify We work on crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, structured data, internal linking, collection architecture, duplicate content, faceted navigation, and SEO issues created by themes, apps, or platform migrations. Shopify Plus engineering We support established and enterprise merchants with custom development, complex integrations, Shopify APIs, checkout extensibility, analytics implementations, app integrations, and ongoing engineering requirements. Ongoing Shopify development and optimization For brands that need continuous engineering rather than one-off projects, Shugert provides ongoing development, CRO, performance, SEO, analytics, QA, and technical support. Shugert is typically a good fit for established ecommerce brands that already have meaningful revenue, traffic, operational complexity, or SEO equity and need senior Shopify expertise without building a full internal engineering team.
