I love Shufti for its very good customer support and intuitive back-office UI. Shufti's journey builder is particularly helpful because it lets us configure parameters through an UI, which really cuts down our integration time. I also appreciate the Slack channel with dedicated Shufti personnel for case-by-case discussions and their tech team's responsiveness via email. Instead of coding parameters into API requests, I can use Shufti's UI to set up everything and just use the journey ID for API calls. There's an option for a user to cancel the verification midway, but there's no setting to hide that option. 2. Even when passing the parameter to not decline on a single step, if a user uploads an invalid document, their verification will be declined, and the user doesn't get the chance to fully upload the rest. The best thing about Shufti is the responsiveness and willingness of the team to support us. They are approachable, engaged, and open to feedback, which makes them easy to work with. The service is helpful because it supports our document upload and verification processes, and the team are willing to work with us to resolve queries or operational points when they arise. The main upsides of using Shufti are the collaborative relationship, the level of support from the team, and their continued commitment to improving the service based on feedback. The Shufti team are responsive and supportive, but we do sometimes see similar issues reoccur, which creates additional follow-up and operational effort. The least helpful aspect is when recurring issues require repeated clarification or escalation before they are fully resolved. The main downside is that the service can require more active management from our side than we would ideally like, although the team remain engaged and willing to work with us to improve this. Shufti supports our document upload and verification processes, helping us manage key parts of our KYC and compliance workflows. Before using Shufti, document collection and verification relied more heavily on internal processes, which could make customer reviews more manual and operationally demanding. We needed a more structured way to request, receive, and review customer documents as part of our wider KYC and compliance workflows. Since implementing Shufti, we have been able to support document upload and verification through a dedicated service, giving our teams a clearer process for managing cases where additional documentation is required. This has helped us progress customer reviews more consistently, support regulatory evidence gathering, and reduce the need to manage the full document-handling process entirely in-house. Shufti has enabled us to support document and liveness verifications for many of our clients for multiple years already. Their technical and customer support have always been there to support our own team when our clients have questions and need help. Integrating multiple services from Shufti is simple and their system is fairly consistent with its results. The platform is intuitive and the verification process is fast. The support team has been responsive whenever needed. Shufti has helped us streamline onboarding and strengthen our compliance controls. I find it to be a reliable and highly recommended KYC/KYB solution. We have been working with Shufti since 2020, and what we appreciate most is the level of support and collaboration they have provided over time. Whenever we have faced operational or technical issues, their team has been available to help us analyze the problem and find a workable solution. We also appreciate the continuous improvements made to the integration over the years, especially those aimed at supporting a mobile-first user experience. Since we operate in several languages, we have occasionally experienced translation issues, particularly around consistency, wording, and localization quality. We also experienced some limitations related to CSS customizations. When custom styling was applied to our flow, we were automatically excluded from certain general product or interface updates. Shufti hit the mark on the three things that matter most to us: pricing, responsiveness, and flexibility. The pricing is genuinely competitive compared to other identity verification providers we evaluated, which made it easy to justify at our scale. Their team responds fast when we reach out — no long support queues or waiting days for answers. As an adult social platform, we have a hard legal requirement to verify age and identity at onboarding, and Shufti handles that reliably. Its biometric face verification lets us confirm real, unique users and screen out spoofing attempts, which is critical for trust and safety on our platform. We built a workflow around their decline codes — distinguishing capture-quality issues that warrant a retry from genuine liveness/spoofing failures that need a hard hold — and set auto-approval at a facial-match confidence threshold while keeping human moderators in the loop for edge cases. The result is faster, cleaner onboarding for legitimate users and a solid compliance posture on age and identity verification. Shufti is a perfect fit for small companies and MLROs who wants to apply internal controls in AML for global markets with a reasonable cost. I like so much the administrator account and KRIs created for the teams because facilitating the UX. Unfortunately, I´m not recommended to acquire Shufti if you need to use the plugin because is not update it. The verification accuracy is excellent, with very few false rejects. The Journey Builder also makes it quick and easy to set up offsite verification flows. What do you dislike about Shufti? Onsite integration and CRM customization aren’t as flexible as the offsite Journey Builder. The larger gap, though, is in document-type-specific logic. For passport verification, the system applies a uniform country-match rule and rejects valid cases when a client’s country of residence differs from the passport’s country of issue, even if nationality is captured correctly.
