The thumbnails of folders and content were nice visuals. There was also a nice feature for multiple brands to be present with content organized in clean ways. The team really loved the live send and engagement tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Showell? The platform was only folder based, could not make pages nor add additional context for content. This resulted in a lot of click through layers of folders. A custom integratin with our DAM, Bynder was possible, but the depths of search, sorting, and data for admins was missing. The biggest miss was not being able to pull any metrics of value with this integration. The advice given to us was to pull reports then run through our own AI. The custom integration casued us too many issues. While they were very very accomdating in the set up, once we fully built everything out, it just didnt deliver. There were significant issues with SSO and getting new users onboarded. This left some inactive users having to start completly over when they needed to login. I was not able to send welcome emails through Showell because of our SSO hook up. I had to ask IT to create a custom auto welcome email. The performace on documents, like scrolling wiht a cursor was not intuitive UX, and you had to use arrow keys to see mulitple pages vs scrolling with the mouse. Our field didnt find this user friendly. After 6+ months of development and good communication with our rep, we didnt hear from her for months. Then only heard from her upon renewal time in which some delayed responses pushed us only a few days beyond our renewal date. We were unable to negotiate our contract and had to be in the tool for another year. This was very frustrating customer service and didnt match the previous relationship we had built which was dissapointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. We're glad the live send and engagement tracking, multi-brand setup, and visual content organisation worked well for your reps. On the product side, the feedback on folder navigation is fair. Richer context around content and fewer click-through layers would help, and this is on our roadmap. Custom DAM integrations like the one we built with Bynder are complex projects, and while we stand behind our side of the build, we've learned from this one that validating the full use case earlier, especially around reporting needs, leads to better outcomes. We're applying that lesson. On support and the renewal, our experience of the partnership differs somewhat from what's described here. We were in regular contact throughout, including evening calls arranged at short notice across time zones, additional walkthroughs and training materials, and a custom workaround built for your SSO setup so welcome emails could still go out. In the months leading up to the renewal, we were in active discussions that resulted in concrete changes on both sides. Like most SaaS agreements, the contract renews automatically unless notice is given by the date in the terms. We recognise that timeline can sneak up, and going forward we'll flag it proactively well in advance. I have to download a document and save it to a Drive or phone storage area in order to access it. It would be much easier to be able to use the copy and paste feature that other operating systems allow you to use like Apple. As a distributor of many product lines, I’m able to keep all my documents in one app and stay organized. My sales representatives can access information from our different suppliers on their iPads and share it easily with customers. I think this may be more user-oriented, but sometimes updates don’t automatically reach all of my sales representatives’ devices, and we end up having to troubleshoot. One of the best things about Showell is the ability to manage documents with version control, ensuring the sales team always has access to the latest approved brochures, price lists and marketing materials. The main downside is that documents are fixed in alphabetical order. It would be great to have the option to manually reorder documents and folders so the most important content appears first. What do you dislike about Showell? As we use dedicated workspaces per sales unit/region, local admins need to first downlad and reupload materials from one workspace to another.
