Also searching for resources is impossible since "Shortcut" is a very generic term and they don't pay for enough SEO (far and large my #1 complaint). They're trying to be edgy with their terminology and configurations, but new doesn't mean better. There's really nothing they provide that's better than the competition, other than perhaps simplicity. **What problems is Shortcut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project and Task Management ### 2. The templates are very helpful for time and the "follow" function is great for coworking and monitoring issues that touch multiple teams. **What do you dislike about Shortcut?** I dislike that you can't create your own sections within Shortcut. I'm a very visual person and I wish I could customize the view a little more so I could sort issues and projects into the different areas of my work. I'd love to be able to sort my shortcut tickets into the different custom aspects; I'd be able to use Shortcut for more things if this was an option. **Recommendations to others considering Shortcut:** Utilize the templates! This is a great tool, especially for newer team members, so they have a starting point to begin using this product. **What problems is Shortcut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shortcut enables me to track issues that might otherwise fall through the cracks. Specifically, I like using Shortcut to track issues I need to triage with other teams or issues I am waiting on customer input to resolve—a great way to keep myself and others accountable. ### 3. It's interface is similar to others (like Jira). It can be hard to navigate without a good project manager, but unique project/task naming helps because then you can use the search function to find what you're looking for. **What do you dislike about Shortcut?** Slow load times and sometimes the search function completely not working really keep this program from being the best it could be. Usually refreshing the page fixes any problem, but it's still a little buggy. **What problems is Shortcut solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're creating an online insurance buying experience, and one of my favorite features is Shortcut's ability to become an archive of what we've done, why we did it, and the parts that went into it (research, design, software considerations, etc.). ### 4. It's usefull to the understanding of velocity at a higher level **What do you dislike about Shortcut?** The way clubhouse separates visualizations using filters is really confusing for product managers dealing with multiple squads. Clubhouse already has multiple visualizations (iterations, epics, stories), the filter layer adds unnecessary confusion regarding the squad and tribe workflows. Besides, it's hard to organize your to-dos, many non-related to particular squads, inside the platform. We usually need to understand squads inside a team, inside a tribe, and our tasks—all aggregated inside one view. Clubhouse, unfortunately, doesn't make it easy :( **Recommendations to others considering Shortcut:** I would recommend comparing others tools, such as Jira, Asana, and Monday. Those competitors have an user interface that is easier to understand, more customizable, alreeady filled with pre-built templates and have an onboarding experience that helps you find yourself while using their tools. **What problems is Shortcut solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're organizing our tribe and squads workflows using Clubhouse's epics, stories, and task structures. ### 5. I would love to see more info by just hovering over a card instead of clicking in and out. **What problems is Shortcut solving and how is that benefiting you?** I just add bugs and feature requests as a CSM, I'm glad I don't spend too much time in it. I love project management software but it's very frustrating sometimes to find what I need. ### 6. It is not intuitive to learn and card can fall through the cracks for different teams. **Recommendations to others considering Shortcut:** Just use JIRA **What problems is Shortcut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not intuitive to use. It could be helpful to have a new user walkthrough when getting started. Also, there are too many filters, and some are identical in function. ### 7.
