I have been using Shopwired since we launched our online ecommerce business and haven't had one single issue. If I had to be exceptionally picky then it would be nice to have a mobile app to accompany the system so I could update items on the fly but that is so far down my priority list that it's not really an issue. We have over the last 25 years built websites using Dreamweaver (at the very beginning) through to Zencart and Magento. Then this year we discovered ShopWired and could not be more pleased. The platform is incredibly easy to use, the support is fanatical. Honestly, they could not be more helpful. Everything we asked for, they achieved! There are so many features, plus of course, the monthly charge is very reasonable. The question was, "what do we like best"....the answer is "Everything". this is not an exaggeration, I don't normally bother with reviews, but I think this company deserves one. The customer service is very good, I use the webchat to quickly solve issues with my website. I think the platform is competitively priced and offers decent value for money, particularly when seen in the context of ongoing customer support. I don't lose a portion of sales to platform fees, which is great. I've used several other platforms and Shopwired is by far the best in the UK in my opinion, I regularly recommend it to others. There are some features I would like to see added which I have suggested, some of them are planned. Particularly I would like to see the ecommerce features of mailchimp fully integrated, and the use of postage rate tables allowed. I really can't state a negative comment. I actually left shopwired briefly as a local web firm promised me the most amazing website interactive website for my business, stating it would save my company so much money and generate much more revenue. This was the biggest mistake that I have ever made and it cost me dearly. We ended up moving back to Shopwired and they went above and beyond to get our site back up and running. ShopWired isn't just good at helping new business owners set up their new company website they also go above and beyond to make sure that the after-sales experience is top tier.

Whenever I have a question about the website or its further development I never get the firm 'NO' response that I have found with other platforms over the years.

I just start a Live Chat from within my Account and there's always someone there to sort out any issue on the spot or it is quickly escalated to the whole team who have a vast amount of experience between them.

So far I haven't hit an obstacle that we couldn't clear. It feels more like a collaboration rather than a subscription if that makes sense?

I especially like that you can choose from a selection of pre-designed themes that can easily be adapted to your specific business type.

What first attracted me to ShopWired is that I had a business idea but couldn't afford the potentially high costs of a dedicated Web Developer to code a unique website for my business idea.

So using pre-designed themes that I could later develop a unique website from was a must. That process also saved a lot of time for me to focus on building good Supplier relationships.

So far I haven't felt like my business has had to adapt to a rigid, limiting platform. This platform is adaptive and doesn't feel restrictive and therefore has spared me the headaches of the past.

I feel free to grow my business how I see fit and focus on that rather than get distracted and bogged down with the nonconforming platforms of the past.

In previous years I've found out that Developers tend to want to manage 'My Expectations', this has always led to an uncompromising disappointment. So far I'm pleased to say that ShopWired is the complete opposite.

I've been selling online for over a decade and this has been the most pain-free experience by far.

The last thing to add is that Google Search DOES rank my ShopWired theme website and realistically it's now down to me to market it in a way to increase traffic as I build my brand.

Therefore it's heartening to know I can concentrate fully on the marketing of the website in the knowledge that there is a dedicated team to help me with the website should I need it.

I'm struggling to find something I've run into that has caused any problems so far. However just a bit of advice to you: You may look at other platforms and their price points but consider that for a few extra pounds per month you get a UK-based responsive customer service that I certainly think is worth that nominal fee. Ask yourself how many times you've had to raise a support ticket for someone who is on the other side of the world that gets back to you a few days later?

My Company is based in the UK so it's been essential to me that I have the support that operates in the same time zone as me. That said, ShopWired runs a Live Chat until 10 pm GMT Mon-Fri so even if you're in another country there's still that window of opportunity to catch someone in Support. The system is intuitive and if you can't work out how to do something, the tutorials are comprehensive, plus the people on the helpdesk are super responsive. It's not as big as Shopify, but much much easier to get help when you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to be able to be better connected to my IG shop.. the stock lags behind by a couple of days, sometimes more. I don't know if this is an IG issue, or a Shopwired one, to be fair.

Also, I would like my customers to be able to browse the site by size (I sell clothing). At the moment they can, but only because I've set up a very laborious system to make it work, and it would be great if there were a theme that accommodated this automatically.

I would also like an email gift voucher to be sent automatically to the recipient, when a customer buys one. It's silly having a section for them to fill in, and then just receive it back - there's no 'e card' which would be a nice touch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some key features missing that we would like to be easily accessible without the need to ask for assistance. The platform needs a bit more flexibility on themes, website builder and page adjustments. It would greatly benefit from an easy-to-use price calculator based on dimensions. The requirement to have a product listed as "active" to use in a quote is a minor flaw.
