What do you like best about Shoppable Where to Buy?

What do you like best about Shoppable Where to Buy?

Although Price Spider has many products undre it's unbrella, we only use the MAP monitoring software. It's one of the best in the industry and has tons or features to help with your price monitoring needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shoppable Where to Buy?

Less flexibility for end user. For any change, even minor changes like removing a SKU or adding a SKU we have to reachout to our representative. Also, it's one on the higher side in terms of annual charges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Shoppable Where to Buy solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are manufacturers and a MAP company and wanted to make sure all our retailers maintain a minimum advertising price on their websites and marketplaces. Checking each and every seller was hard and so Price Spider comes into picture with their software which makes it very easy for us to stay on top of sellers who violate the pricing. What do you dislike about Shoppable Where to Buy?

It was slow - several seconds to pull back the price after the rest of the site loaded. Price Spider also charges more money for every little piece of data that we wanted to pull back. As a UX designer learning from our customers, I would constantly get push back when I requested data to meet my designs that those parts of data were not considered or factored into our pricing plans. Not a lot of the brick and mortar retailers are able to provide the real-time inventory data, not a fault of Pricespider, but, it impacts the experience to the user nevertheless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Shoppable Where to Buy:

If you're only selling via reseller/retailer channel and not selling direct, I think this solution is a must have for you. And if you are selling direct, but believe in offering an omnichannel experience for your customers, then this is a solid option for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Shoppable Where to Buy solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Where to Buy module is beneficial for both the user and the manufacturer offering it. For the user, it provides them with a seamless experience of all of the available purchase paths available for a given SKU, whether it be through your site, Amazon, or another retailer or dealer. For the manufacturer or brand, the tool can act as an alleviator of channel pressure if you're selling direct and can also be utilized in part to enforce MAP as you can automatically drop any of your resellers from the Where to Buy box if they're selling below MAP.
