Shopmonkey is so helpful with keeping all my workorders organized and in different categories. I love that I don't have to flip through paper tickets anymore and I can search keywords to find tickets. I also like that it keeps track of time of each employee and I am able to run a payroll report directly from the timeclock page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Shopmonkey? My main dislike currently with Shopmonkey is the syncing with Quickbooks. After the update to 2.0 my inventory did not transfer over correctly so it is throwing my numbers off. This also makes it hard because if an item does not show up in Shopmonkey I have to go to Quickbooks to find the item and the price of it. I am the only one who can do this so it makes my job much harder. I also wish that the paid invoices and invoices themselves automatically transferred to Quickbooks instead of going to Accounting Link and then to Quickbooks. Shopmonkey has been a big help and a great program for the last handful of years. It speeds up workflow in too many ways for me to list, and I usually recommend it if you're feeling like things at your garage could be more streamlined, because Shopmonkey is how. Shopmonkey is falling very quickly from where it once stood. The customer service is not as personal as it once was, and the lack of updates is painfully frustrating when you're being told about the "new version" for multiple years with no release, and yet the current version is still breaking once a week keeping you from using it for hours on a busy day. It is becoming more difficult by the day to recommend Shopmonkey, a program I once praised to everyone to a program that is very useful but has better alternatives at far better prices. Creating estimates, ordering parts, getting authorization, etc. They also create issues once you rely on these things becuase they often stop functioning in the middle of your workday. The thing I do like is being able to take pic and videos add them in to inspections then being able to send to my customers for them to see . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Shopmonkey? I hate the way the parts procurement and ordering works. It's complicated and time consuming . There for one when I go in and find a part myself on the multi seller link when transferred over it should transfer over my cost the cost of part with the pricing according to my matrix setting and the retail list price not viewable to customer but viewable and editable to me. Then next thing is when searching for a service to add when I find and add a service and transfer it with parts that it lists for the service it shows a part number but gives no option to order the part right there and doesn't identify the brand of part or the selling store so then its listed as the part but I have to go find and order a part and it takes to much time and it's frustrating.
