"Eases Job Complexity, Needs Data Reliability"
4/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

I like how easy Smart Factory Suite makes the job. Even without a lot of lean engineers or process lean people around, with the correct discipline onsite and people's proper behavior, it does the job for you. It helps in seeing the impact of smaller stoppages around the line, not just the big ones. The smaller things, like losing a couple of minutes every hour, are usually invisible, but the suite brings them to light, enabling us to correct issues quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

I'm dealing with occasional spikes of data that disrupt the production line. It looks great on a smart board, showing extra data we haven't run, but it can mess up the day's data for that line and other parts of the factory. This makes it seem like we've overachieved, which isn't accurate and causes people to lose trust in the system and neglect it since they can't fully trust it. "Expensive with basic features behind paywall. But Well-Organized Dashboards w/ Convenient Filtering"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

Overall dashboard organization is logical and well organized. The filters section on the right side is also in a good position for quick access to slicers. Clicking an item in a widget for quick filtering by that item is also a very convenient feature. I appreciate that there is the option to use API integrations for export, and we will soon make use of that. The overall performance rarely requires any waiting - the databases are responsive. I am not sure how performance would be affected if we required more granular data retention for longer periods though.

Pricing is too high and has been mentioned in discussions centered around continued use of this product, especially regarding Core Analytics. Specifically, documentation of functions, their syntax, variables, and examples is seriously lacking and requires support sessions at an additional charge which we do not appreciate and will highly likely not use. Because of this we opt to export raw data to do analysis in Excel and report via Power BI. And for an even higher subscription more features are added such as Andon, unique user accounts... etc, which I am totally disappointed with.

User onboarding is handled via an email which links to wiki style documentation and only demonstrates the most basic kind of report, such as Total Production. Widget templates are appreciated though.

Support is mostly sufficient via ticketing system. For a recent overall implementation support request we have been waiting with no contact for a period.

Ai features are available at an additional cost and we are especially not interested. Just saying 'AI assisted' is nowhere near enough for a savvy AI user to evaluate the value.

Support recently said that a request in a report to include a column for current production count at the time of a downtime event was a 'unique' request and would take time to figure out how to provide that. To me that is also very basic. The fact that it is not apparently simple is concerning.

The database table relationship is nice to see from a data analysis perspective, although the tables could be larger. Combined with the data retention policy and the price we are paying it is difficult to understand how a more generous retention policy and more robust database is not standard. What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

Specifically price, unintuitive and nonstandard functions and syntax, undefined variables hidden behind a paywall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive whiteboard and visual analytics with real-time updated data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

Ease of use at the Whiteboard level, beautiful visual presentation. At the Analytics section, beautiful visual presentation of tables and charts. Data accessibility and good real-time updates. At the Support level: fast response and accessibility in terms of problem resolution, additions, questions about functionality, and adding users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

Lack of options in Whiteboard; for example, correcting the quantity of production produced, correcting a source data error (from a said machine tag).

In Analytics: lack of options, for example, to add targets by machine. Some NFR tickets are open without any follow-up on the status of the request. Adding, finding formulas are more difficult to execute, complexity in understanding the structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Paola Gomez of Smart Factory Suite

Thank you, Edith, for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear that Shoplogix is helping your team with real-time production visibility, clear visual analytics, and faster communication across departments.

It’s great to know that the Whiteboard, analytics tables and charts, and overall data accessibility are making it easier for your team to see what’s happening on the shop floor and act quickly. We also appreciate your comments about our support team and their responsiveness when questions, user updates, or functionality requests come up.

Your feedback around data corrections, job data updates, machine-level targets, formulas, and ticket follow-up is also very helpful. We understand how important it is for manufacturing teams to have accurate production data they can trust. At the same time, one of our goals is to preserve the “machine truth” coming directly from equipment signals, which is why manual data corrections can sometimes be more complex.

That said, we know there are real situations where source data errors or job data corrections need to be handled more easily. Today, our support team helps manage these requests through our ticketing process, and we’re actively working to improve this experience. We’re also introducing new job data correction capabilities through a “Job Admin” role, which will make it easier for authorized users to update and manage job-related data directly.

Thanks again for your review and for helping us continue to improve Shoplogix for manufacturers using real-time data, visual management, and analytics to improve daily operations.

"Real-time monitoring and key analysis to boost productivity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

The most useful aspect of Smart Factory Suite is being able to monitor production in real time. A good prior analysis allows for obtaining relevant information about the use of available capacity and opening improvement plans on the causes that lead to productivity losses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

At the operational level, I only miss the implementation of work orders in real time, in order to return the actual costs also in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time OEE Tracking with Easy PLC Integration and Actionable Downtime Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

We are able to track real time OEE and it singles out our down times. indicating where we need focus and how to get things up and running better. it integrates with most of our PLC and it actually quite easy to integrate. the Performance can be monitored with real time data and analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

I think this is something to do at our end but sometimes it starts logging our production as scrap and then it has to be moved to good product but i think this is a glitch and we can rectify it easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Insights and Custom Analytics That Drive Cost Savings"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

I love the fact that you can receive real time information and that it has the ability to be broadcast throughout the company. Analytics reports that can be built for specific meeting types is also a benefit. We have been able to show some cost savings and pricing wins with running downtime analysis by sku, which has helped limit overtime and spend in most areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

The only real "complaint" is that we do not have the ability to add/remove downtime reasons on our own. We have some instances where we go too in depth with downtime reason codes, and some instances where we are too vague. All other aspects of Shoplogix have been really good for us. "A Valuable Tool for Tracking OEE and Downtime"
5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

We track our OEE along with downtime, it helps us single out the top downtime for the day or however we scale it to be . It already separates the headers for us. It is an extremely viable tool for maintenance professionals with a TPM goal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

I think its something on our end, but every once in a while and we do not know why, it starts logging our numbers as "scrap" and it has to be manually moved back to being a good production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple to Implement, Stable, and Packed with Shop-Floor Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smart Factory Suite?

The basic concept is quite simple, which makes it easy to implement. You also get a lot of data presented in different views, and it can be used on the shop floor as well. It can be applied to both machines and manual stations, using simple sensors or other systems already used during the cycle. Overall, the system is very stable, and the price is quite reasonable for what you get. Support is very helpful and responds quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smart Factory Suite?

Some of the calculations are fairly difficult to understand and explain. The Whiteboard could also be more adjustable and flexible. Analytics is a great part of Shoplogix, but the data is only added to its database at a little more than hourly intervals, which can be limiting at times. It would help to have more widget templates, easier export to other dashboards, or AI support that could assist with duplicating widgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Paola Gomez of Smart Factory Suite

It’s great to hear that Shoplogix has been easy to implement, stable, and useful across both machines and manual stations.

We’re glad it’s helping your team identify issues like scrap and downtime, track performance over time, and generate the KPIs your plant needs.

Your feedback on calculations, Whiteboard flexibility, analytics timing, templates, exports, and AI-assisted dashboard creation is helpful. We’re already working on clearer formula visibility, faster analytics, and improved Whiteboard reporting for real-time area overviews, shift performance, and daily meetings.

We also offer SLX dashboard templates today, but agree there’s room to make templates easier to find and adapt.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. It helps us keep improving Shoplogix for manufacturing teams using real-time production data and analytics to improve plant performance.
