"Fast Connectivity and Simple Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about Shopify?

I love the simplicity of Shopify's interface and its connectivity with various tools. It allows you to connect other software like PipeDrive or Wax and makes it easy to quickly update inventory, which prevents stock issues. I also appreciate how quickly changes are made to product listings, almost instantaneously. Orders are processed very quickly, and the online tutorials make it easy to get to grips with the software. What do you dislike about Shopify?

Sometimes, some out-of-stock products appear as 'in stock' on our site, which is annoying because products are sold when they are no longer available. It's simply small bugs, nothing serious, and it happens very rarely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love all the reports and analytics that it gives you within your plan. Once you are able to learn how to navigate through the site, then it is easy to jsut zip around and do what you need to do! The pricing is a lot at first, but we were easily able to get our ROI pretty quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify?

I wish that the website editor was more of a drag and drop, but I still don't mind how it is now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rising cots over time, many essential features to run smooth are locked behind paid apps. Also the app dependency for core functions can be limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify?

For Indian payments, we have to use 3rd party service and need to give a commission to both Shopify and the payment gateway provider, which is one of the features that I don't like.

As it is a subscription model, limitation to update the files on checkout pages in the default plans.

Shopify Plus is too costly for small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Insightful Analytics, but Pricey"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify?

I find Shopify's platform easy to manage, which helps me sell women's yoga clothing without hassle. I really like the analytics and data collection features because they provide me with vital information as a small business owner. The initial setup for my online store was super easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify?

I had a chargeback transaction issue where Shopify approved it without properly reviewing the history. Despite dealing directly with the customer and having proof of actions, Shopify's handling of this situation seemed very unfair. Also, the basic plan price is quite elevated, making it not a cheap platform to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup with Robust Features, Minor Backend Hurdles"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify?

I find Shopify really easy to set up, which is great because it takes only one to three days. There's a lot of modules available for updating the shop, and plenty of options to integrate with other systems. The availability of documentation means that anyone with some business knowledge can set up an ecommerce website. Updating products and other tasks are doable even without developer knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify?

Sometimes, the back end is a little messy. It's sometimes a little hard to navigate between internal Shopify setup on the design. It's quite hard to understand which settings of the website or of the Shopify default you need to go to change something, what is actually in the front end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptionally Easy to Use with a Seamless Integration Ecosystem"
4/5
What do you like best about Shopify?

What I like best is Shopify's exceptional ease of use and its seamless integration ecosystem. The intuitive dashboard allows even beginners to launch a professional store quickly. Moreover, the vast App Store and built-in integrations with social media and shipping carriers make it incredibly easy to scale operations without needing advanced coding skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify?

The main drawback is the complex fee structure, especially the transaction fees. If you don't use Shopify Payments, you are charged an additional transaction fee on top of your payment provider's rates. Also, while the apps provide great functionality, the recurring monthly costs for multiple premium apps can significantly increase the total cost of ownership. "Good platform to launch a store, but costs and complexity can grow fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify?

What I like best about Shopify is how quickly you can launch a professional looking online store. The platform is polished, reliable, and has a strong ecosystem of apps, themes, and integrations. It’s a good option for businesses that want a solid starting point without building everything from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify?

What I like less about Shopify is that the costs can increase pretty quickly once you start adding apps, paid themes, and extra functionality. For my use case, I also felt that some workflows were too dependent on third-party tools instead of feeling more unified out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
