The major disadvantage that I face while using shopify is that they don't provide annual subscription plan they only have monthly subscription and it is too costly for longrun and for accessing detailed analytics you will have to pay extra money other than it's premium plan which is unnecessary. I like the themes in Shopify. I really like the fact that I can go in without any sort of coding skills and design a home page. Setting up carousels, whether it's a sliding banner, and looking at different gallery formats for a home page allows me to curate a different look for different brands. The idea of personalization is great because I have clients with different feels, and I can create something that feels quite bespoke to them with a sort of drag and drop vibe. If I'm doing a new product and it's similar to another product, I will find that redoing the things like meta descriptions - the SEO listing at the bottom - I seem to have to do that manually each time.
