
Shop-Ware is very easy to navigate, both as a shop and as a customer. It's also great with building repair/service estimates from scratch or saving menu item services as canned jobs, with ease. Almost every customer that we interact with navigates their way through their own R.O. with ease and typically has nothing but praise for how amazingly well laid out this system is for supplying them with estimates, and pictures/video attachments of concerns. We would love the ability to change labor dollars without having to change the tech hours. The other thing is more than one phone number in the contact screen would be nice and I understand that is something they are also working on. The last thing would be the parts catalog would be nice if all vendors could be on the same screen so you could easily look at all your vendors and compare price and availability. The stand-out feature for us in Shop-Ware is the customer portal. We love that we are able to communicate all of our notes, with photos and videos, directly to our customers on their smartphones and computers. Furthermore, the ability to attach recommendations to those notes allows us to communicate fully with our customers without having to be on the phone all day. Shop-Ware has really taken estimating to a new level. The ability to search previous jobs to carry them into new estimates is a great time saver. Canned jobs for common tasks like diagnostics help to eliminate those commonly forgotten items.

Shop-Ware is not without it's bugs. Parts and Inventory are a work-in-progress. Parts entry on-the-fly isn't possible - they have to have an inventory entry generated. Integration is available for many common vendors, but isn't always perfect. Customizable pricing matrices are not available. Smart labor multipliers are not available. I would like the pricing displays a little different. I would like to have true menu/package pricing options. Texting abilities are slim. BUT all of these are already being worked on, so not really a big issue just a field that required an entry.
