Shipzy is a container tracking tool and freight forwarder directory for importers, exporters and forwarders. Enter a container or bill of lading number to see where a shipment is. Tracking is free for MSC, Maersk, ONE, Hapag-Lloyd, Yang Ming and ZIM. Paid plans add CMA CGM, COSCO and other carriers. Save a shipment and Shipzy re-checks it for you. The free plan keeps 3 saved shipments and sends delay and arrival emails. Pro costs €20 a month, keeps 30 saved shipments and adds demurrage and detention alerts, which warn you when a container has sat idle after discharge or stayed out too long after gate-out. Business plans are priced on request. Ocean schedule search covers 17,000+ ports. Results show transit times, transshipment ports, cutoffs and vessel names, so you can compare services before you book. When a shipment needs help at the other end, Shipzy shows forwarders at the destination port and lets you ask them for a quote. The directory lists 8,000+ forwarders by country and service. Country rankings are scored on profile completeness, test quote responses and endorsements. Most listings are imported and unclaimed, so a forwarder can claim its profile, complete it and apply to be ranked. Forwarders can also put a Shipzy tracking widget on their own website, so their customers can follow a container without leaving the page. Shipzy suits importers and exporters who ship with several carriers and don't want to check each carrier's site, and forwarders who want to be found by shippers in their country.
