They offer good rates, but read the find prints.

**What do you dislike about Shift Payment?**

Was told by our rep Richard that there were no contacts, comes to find out on the day of cancellation that there IS a contract, which you are entitled to early termination fees when cancelled.

**What problems is Shift Payment solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were great with low rates comparing to others, however, there's a catch with a contract which they won't tell you about.

Nothing, they are garbage. Take your business somewhere else

As a business owner, this company is awful to work with. I went from paying a $25/mn credit card usage to to $340/mn usage fee within two years. They most recently increased their "settle volume fee" from .05% to .25% without any notification from Feb 2024 to March 2024.

This company pray on your business. Trys to make themself essential then increases your fees through the roof. They are extremely untrustworthy. Dont be fooled by their promise of lower fees. Take your business else where

They are trying to monopolize payments then they jack up the rates when you are stuck with no other options

Very helpful having a good account manager (Adam.) We were shut off by stripe after doing $500k+ and it nearly ruined our company, Securion accepted our business model and helped us get on board very fast - looking forward to the future working together and growing!

**What do you dislike about Shift Payment?**

They are continuing to update their dashboard, so more stats etc in the future (like churn/lifetime) will be great.

High risk business, looking for a processor that understands us

I have lasting relationships with them, I find their company great.
Adam and his team are always professional, precise and responsive.
I find they have a fantastic customer service, compared with other companies in the same business area.

**What do you dislike about Shift Payment?**

I can read that some people may feel disappointed because they don't accept every business, for me it is a proof that SecurionPay is reliable and built to be on the scene for a while.
Even for me who have been working with them for a few years, some of my proposals can be declined because they are not in their core business, but I can understand and accept it.

Introduction near some acquirers who are complementary.

**What do you like best about Shift Payment?**

Allows for real-time electronic payment authorization and reporting. It is easy to control and a very flexible system which is a wonderful feature. I love the web-based capabilities which are nice to be able to access data from an alternate location (home office). So far it is a very secure network which is always important when handling so much personal information of our customers. The reports available are easy to use, easy to read and print well. The process is very fast / the program works quickly.

**What do you dislike about Shift Payment?**

Pricing is very unclear unless you are already using the program. I think it is comparable to other software out there but it is hard to tell depending on what you are utilizing it for. I do wish we could access more than 24 months of past data... it is only necessary around tax time so far but sometimes a pain when we need to view old data. Customer service is not that great when we have needed assistance. In the past they are not very helpful and then do not get back to you with a solution. Hold times are pretty long which is never a good thing.

Do your research... this program is not for every business.

I enjoy the instant information that is available when processing payments. It allows for easy audits and tracking of data. Being able to access data right away is the most important thing for us. It assists us in knowing what our cash / income is on a daily, weekly, monthly, etc basis.

The customer service and deposits
I have been trying to get help with deposits and merchant numbers for 2 months. It has been an accounting nightmare to try and reconcile what we took in to what is deposited. I am now 3 months behind on reconciling because of the lack of service.  I have called several times a week with no resolution. The worst is I spent 4 hours on a phone call and 3hr and 45 minutes of that was on hold after I told them my issue.  No resolution, they created yet another case with no call or response.  It has not been over a week since my last case was opened and still nothing.  I would recommend anyone but Shift4the up

**What do you like best about Shift Payment?**

I am the CEO of a company developing innovative chat app experiences reserved for adults since 2 years ago. We had the time top try all the available payment processors on the market (the "high-risk" payment processors). If you have to start with one, your most strategic decision will be to implement SecurionPay. 

- This will give you the best margin/profit of all ones (equal first position with another one I won't mention here)

But it differenciates with the other one through the following advantages: 

- If you are reading this you are probably benchmarking several high risk payment processors. You have probably experienced how most of them offer you a customer experience close from a drug dealer: Unprofessional, unreliable, available to answer your messages once per month and when you have questions you feel like you are disturbing them. SecurionPay is literally the Stripe of high-risk payment processors. Their sales and support will care about your request no matter the volume of questions you have and within 24H. They care about you as if you were their only customer (as most biggest mainstream companies do). 

- The payment checkout page is not a dirty page full of fields to enter but a native embedded module exactly like Stripe, with the possibility to "remember the card" for quick purchases. 

For future clients looking for reviews here, I would li ke to note that the past negative reviews are all made by . people whose the application has been declined. But this has no link with the quality of their product and service. This is a high-risk payment processor so yes they have strictest rules in terms of compliance.If you don't have a missing document like proof of address or i don't know what else, they won't accept you. It's also about your business, the way you manage it and your product. For example, before we had a web app allowing people to exchange "sexting" sessions on Snapchat. They were not able to accept us because the chat (service provided) asnot taking place in a place (site or app) we own and can monitor. This is because, to offer high-riskpayment services like they do, they need to respect very strict rules required by their banks and financial partners to keep running their business. So yes, we also felt frustrated when they declined our application on this app. But when we came back wirth our new product and compliant documents, they were as available and helpful as described above.

As a conclusion, even if it's important you permanently AB test several options, I recommend you start with SecurionPay. And it's likely you will keep it as first solution or, at least, among your different payment options. And god knows I tried them all...

You need a few skills to setup the payment process. There are many rules you can implement to optimize your paymentr success rate, chargeback, etc. But they offer to provide you with theirown recommendationssoactually this is not really a pain. And at least you can target better KPIs than with other processors where it's all setup by deffault.

Shift4 Payments are secure payment gateways.also Paycom offers very smooth and easy HR operations. which is best time-saver.

Our company has been using Shift4 Payments for almost 3 years and have been happy with it being so user friendly and we also appreciate that the website interface is good.  

**What do you dislike about Shift Payment?**

We recently had an issue and the customer service was less than helpful.  They took four days to finally correct our problem, all the while blaming our IT company when in reality the problem stemmed from how Shift4 instructed our IT company to set up the machine in the first place.

IT works well for us.  The only area of concern is the time it takes when a problem arises.

The only thing good about this company is that they have a really flattering website where they offer you this and that.

After being rejected for a "UNSUPPORTED BUSINESS MODEL" I had to make a review. Not only because I was rejected, because I sell fashion accessories, which is something they do not support, but they do support gambling and financing. You make a conclusion.  Unfortunately after being scammed by paymill which is still blocked by the luxembourg CSSF I wanted to use another processor. Unfortunately, it seems by their standards selling fashion accessories is illegal, and gambling is good for business.

How much it costs. So many fees if you aren’t card processing . They don’t communicate well certain things

Nothing. The site is clear and very pleasant, but informations are wrong. Very disappointing and not professional.

The information on the site (accepted businesses) is totally untrue. They say they accept Computer and Electronic businesses which is wrong. That's not serious.

This means that even if your business model is on the list of supported businesses, the application can be declined by the underwriting team for a certain reason, based on the investigation done during the compliance process.

**What do you like best about Shift Payment?**

We process $15M anually. We use several Payment Gateways (including all the "big" players) and I can say Securionpay really does stand above all. They have been our most reliable partner so far. Their technology is smooth, reliable and straighforward.  Easy and fast to integrate. Their support team is unbeatably fast and efficient, and their fees are one of the lowest. I really wish all our other processors were like them. 100% recommended.

I really cannot think about anything I dislike about them. One of the many few companies that simply seem to get it right in all aspects.

If you want an easy-to integrate, reliable payment gateway with an excellent and fast support, this is your product!
