What I like best about shiftadmin is the ease of merging my shiftadmin schedules with my iPhone calendar and widget calendars. It's also nice too because you don't have to think about merging them either, after the first month merge, my schedules will automatically merge to my iPhone calendar. Compared to other software scheduling apps I have used, this software is by far the best. The only dislike I have currently is trying to download and print schedules is a multi step process on the desktop. Otherwise, a very efficient scheduling software for all employees. Allowing my doctor's to enter their schedule request with flexibility and they're able to make there shift request quickly. I by the easy-to-use administratively as well. Shift Admin generates a schedule that we use as the base (or rough draft) to assign the best schedule to our providers. The system takes into consideration the provider contracts, multiple requests, preferences, locations and restraints for each of our locations so that we do not have to do so by hand. Their customer service and tech support is top notch! Submitting a help ticket online is quick and the turnaround time from their tech support is fast. The system is complicated and there is a very steep learning curve, but that is to be expected with the number of providers we have and the diverse needs and preferences they have for scheduling. I love that you can create rules for your providers and it will fill in where to put them. It use to take me a week to do by hand on an excel document. When generating schedules only one user can own the preferences/filters. If another user tries to generate the schedule, they cannot see the preferences/filters chosen by the previous user.
