As we offer multiple Linux distributions or Windows preloaded on the virtual desktop, it gives the user the opportunity to use the operating system that they want on the device that they want. This is great for new users who would like to give Linux a test run without having to install on their hardware or for developers who would like to test and deploy all on one device. Schools and businesses can rapidly deploy computers and phones to those who need them at a low-cost. ## Shells.com Reviews ### 1. Simply doesn't work. Not at all. Zero. Zip. I guess that's a good thing. **What do you dislike about Shells.com?** That is completely stopped working after only a short number of days. Not even slightly worked. No glitches. No latency. The system literally stopped working and they did nothing to get it working again. I am now 2 days in without the system working AT ALL. Their support page on their website doesn't work and their phone system directs the user to the page that doesn't work. Their support email address appears to be a black hole of no response. Run, don't walk away from this product. NOTE: I am paying customer. **What problems is Shells.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves no problem because is simply doesn't work. Would be a neat idea, but only if it worked. I'm days in without the system working at all with no support to get it back up and running. I lost DAYS of hard work on this system. I'm quite impressed about this product especially its features. Never have I imagined before that you could use your computer on any devices. It's crazy thinking about it, but I guess this is how technology is now. I also didn't know that there are multiple computer operating system aside from Windows and Mac! there are other OS too, like Ubuntu and Linux, which are great and very fast. **What do you dislike about Shells.com?** I cannot talk much about the downside of using this application. I could not ask for more. **What do you dislike about Shells.com?** The thing I don't like the most about Shells is that it's a bit laggy whenever multiple tabs are open simultaneously. Scalability is simple - a few clicks and no time spent on VM setup. For us, the competitor was that we had to set up a new Windows Virtual machine, then install a SO, which takes time, and I don't have time for that; V2Cloud is relatively simple to set up, a couple of clicks and you have your computer. Furthermore, we use to have virtual networks within users utilising different sessions, and it works great. **What do you dislike about Shells.com?** So yet, nothing has happened. It has been an excellent fit for our needs to have MAC users using Windows machines for software compatibility. **What problems is Shells.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Because my former hosted VM provider (Azure) was nickeling and diming me, my monthly fee kept going up. After that, I self-hosted for 2 years, but the performance was poor, and I had to pay for hardware and local networking difficulties. With this, I don't have to worry about power/internet disruptions at the workplace stopping my ability to check in and work. ### 5. If one OS breaks, then you can still use the other one. having said that, I'm consistent in using this app as it's one of my go-to especially when it's work related. I also don't need to bring my laptop with me always as this app serves as a VDI - can run on any devices I want. **What do you dislike about Shells.com?** It would help if you had a faster internet connection because the Shells runs on the cloud, so If your connection is slow, there are higher chances that this app can work slow too. **What problems is Shells.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have to purchase costly hardware like a PC or laptop if I want to use an app not available on my OS.
