Customer service is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Two ways to produce checks. **What do you dislike about ShelbyNext Financials?** Updating and merging vendors. Hard to fix errors and Shelby next not upgrading to the needs of todays church. **What problems is ShelbyNext Financials solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using quick checks for purchasing. ### 2. I find the Financials aspect to be user-friendly and easy to manage as an administrator. **What do you dislike about ShelbyNext Financials?** Complete lack of competent customer support is the biggest issue. We are constantly being passed around to "someone that can fix the problem," and they never fix the problem. They continue to waste my time. We have been limping along, unable to properly use Arena and Shelby Giving to their total capacity because no one at Shelby Support knows how to properly fix our issues as a multi-tenant, HQ user. I write these reviews, someone calls upset about my review, and then they still don't fix the problem. I have three MAJOR issues that lack a resolution after 2.5 years of complaining about them. Staff turnover at Shelby also seems to be a huge issue that contributes to this growing problem. I would never recommend this program to another diocese or company that must manage multiple companies. **What problems is ShelbyNext Financials solving and how is that benefiting you?** Financials does the job in regards to basic tax reporting, but without Arena working correctly, it's not benefiting me much. ### 4. Balance sheet is constantly out of balance to bank accounts. **What problems is ShelbyNext Financials solving and how is that benefiting you?** I haven't encountered any problems that have been solved or beneficial to me lately. ### 5. Reporting features provide significantly more flexibility. **What do you dislike about ShelbyNext Financials?** The product could benefit from an enhanced interface allowing information to flow between modules. **Recommendations to others considering ShelbyNext Financials:** Shelby Next Financials is a good product and a significant improvement over previous versions. The reporting options are more advanced and the ability to drill down to detail and hisrotical information is significantly enhanced. **What problems is ShelbyNext Financials solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shelby Next replaced our obsolete version, Shelby v5, and brought us up to a package that utilizes current technology and is cloud based. ### 8. It makes donating/ giving/ tithing to church so simple. Multiple users are allowed. **What do you dislike about ShelbyNext Financials?** It is user friendly for people who are familiar with apps, but for older users it is not as straightforward. The interface looks clean, but sometimes clean and minimal is difficult to manage if everything is not labeled. **Recommendations to others considering ShelbyNext Financials:** Shelby Financials is so easy to use. You can easily keep track of finances, and end of year giving statements are so easy! If you're comparing Shelby Financial to another product, I think Shelby would win- the price is too good for the value, service, and ease of use you will receive. **What problems is ShelbyNext Financials solving and how is that benefiting you?** Church use/ donations- great to use because most people don't carry cash/ checkbook around, but everyone has their smartphone. Easy to track giving/ year end reports are simple as well. ### 10.
