This is a solid product for private companies and checks all the boxes for company needs and provides a good experience for your employees. It seems like they are headed to the public company area as well and they should do well there - especially with MS as their (relatively) new owner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Shareworks by Morgan Stanley solving and how is that benefiting you?

we moved from excel, this was problematic for all the usual reasons with excel. It was great to be able to share with Law firm and investors to keep all in sync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A perfect cap table management software for any company"

What do you like best about Shareworks by Morgan Stanley?

Capshare means we can type in a name and see everything on one screen. All stockholders and option holders can access Capshare and see their entire file, documents included.

I love that Capshare was built specifically for private companies like ours so we don't have to deal with the complexity of systems that are also built for public companies.

But I also love knowing that when we outgrow it, we will have a smooth transition to their public company platform on Shareworks.

The live chat support is phenomenal. They are responsive, smart, and getting answers is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shareworks by Morgan Stanley?

What problems is Shareworks by Morgan Stanley solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Capshare as our system of record to store and issue shares electronically. Our cap table was getting unruly and since moving to Capshare managing our equity has been relatively easy. I do sometimes run into things I don't understand but it's easy to get fantastic help on chat support. We also use Capshare for our 409A valuations. It's been good. CapShare gives you the power to quickly spot holders of shares and stock with just a click. You are also able to view the details of the holders just to offer more confidence and assurance. With a very supportive team always on the look out for client concerns, using CapShare becomes one of the best experiences with softwares and in particular, stock and shares software.
