Honestly, I was on the fence when it was the Go product although I was still chatting with the team in Helsinki and learning to appreciate how supportive they were. When Flex was released, it was a no brainer. I was already hugely impressed by and confident in the team behind the product and, with Flex, Sharetribe delivered the look/feel we needed to launch a product that had to help us "build trust through design". Obviously there are limitations to using any out of the box platform but imo Sharetribe are consistently adding new features and so my expectations are always surpassed based on the fact that we get to leverage a heavy hitting, well hosted, secure database technology for a monthly rental fee that has enabled us to do corporate deals at a global level. I am delighted with the experience I had with Sharetribe's assistance. The entire Sharetribe support team was exceptional. I asked them dozens of questions every day during the three weeks it took to build my marketplace, and they always responded efficiently and quickly. They guided me step by step and gave me plenty of advice to improve my platform. It's really refreshing to see a company like Sharetribe truly care about the success of its customers. Sharetribe is very quick and easy to set up! The built-in features are really intuitive while still giving you enough flexibility to accommodate different use cases. I had a two-sided services marketplace place set up with LinkedIn sign in, custom profiles, payments, messaging, approval workflows, etc. all done within about a day just using the Go product. Most features come default on, and you can just turn off what you don't want - rather than a lot of no-code builders where you have to add every module or extension to get the features you want. The admin tools are also really great out of the box.

Like any no-code builder, you'll eventually run into limitations if the marketplace you want to build has some unique workflows to it.

There are a few features that would be nice like integrated subscriptions and refining user actions like posting listings.

It's a highly functional out-of-the-box two-sided marketplace that was incredibly easy to set up. We were able to get something up and running in a matter of days, rather than weeks or months. The customer service is also amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're building a products based marketplace, the check-out process is a little bulky because there isn't a shopping cart/one click purchasing option, and the aesthetic could be a little cleaner (I don't like that the text sits on top of the product images) but the overall functionality gives us so much control over the sorting + filtering that we needed, that it was still worth it.
