Due to all the difficulty and uniqueness of share schemes, the system has understandable limitations, some processes need to be done manually, but the team make sure to make notes for themselves to "remember" for next year/time. The manual intervention leads to additional checking and a chance of error, but it is so good to see the effort the team makes to add value to make the process better. Make data more accessible for specific needs (like financial reporting or SENS announcements or when a corporate action like unbundling is imminent) Interface to get reliable data on equities/awards/transactions etc is easy to navigate and up to date. Supply an interface where employees can manage their equities intuitively. When we had constant problems with Standard Bank's processes, they introduced us to a MUCH better company with regards to share sold and transferred to employees. This collaboration works well. I like that ShareForce gives real-time visibility over awards, vestings, exercises, and deferment elections, which really helps with improving accuracy, auditability, and governance. The straight-through process, especially on the deferment process that ShareForce built specifically for us, is another great feature. It also enhances the employee experience by providing a portal for elections and access to documentation, and it reduces the volume of individual queries. The customized deferment solution aligns well with our plan rules and operational workflow, avoiding a rigid, off-the-shelf approach. The implementation team are very hands on and extremely helpful. They understood our requests and where required took these up with the development team for resolution. Implementation was a drawn out process due to restraints on our side, but the ShareForce team stayed focused throughout and following up to keep progressing. The platform is clean and easy to use, we went live with the system around 2 months ago and already more participants have utilised the new solution over the old which was in play for 4 years.
