Disappointing Experience with Setapp's Support **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Ben F. **Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025 **What do you like best about Setapp?** I was going to use Setapp for the wide range of tools, including cleaning up my Mac and the virus protection features. Installing was easy. **What do you dislike about Setapp?** Setapp is not solving any problems for me. I was not able to get the application to work. Customer Support - I received an error message that my laptop had previously used a trial, however when I reached out to see if they could fix it the response was a clear no - for a 7 day trial, I would have thought it would be easy to restart it. I'm hesitant to spend money with someone if that is the service they provide when they are trying to win your business. The support experience should be accommodating and welcoming, which it didn't feel like. I didn't feel valued as a person, which is also something that could be improved on. Installing was easy. I didn't get the error message I referred to until I downloaded one of the apps, which is really, really annoying. **What problems is Setapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Setapp is not solving any problems for me.
