## About Sesame HR
Sesame HR is the all-in-one Human Resources software that enables companies to digitize, simplify, and automate the routine processes of their HR departments. Trusted by more than 15,000 satisfied customers — including renowned brands such as Alain Afflelou, Hofmann, Black & Decker, Toyota, Aquaservice, LATAM Airlines, Médicos Sin Fronteras, Babaria, and Top Doctors — Sesame HR is the strategic ally that helps managers, executives, and HR leaders save time and money, gain full control of their business, and simplify decision-making, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: improving the employee experience. The platform brings together every key area of HR management into a single, easy and intuitive interface, organized around four main pillars. Time management covers time tracking, shift management, holiday and absence management, and overtime balance, ensuring full compliance with current labor regulations such as Spain's mandatory digital time-tracking law. Talent and culture includes onboarding, internal communication, workplace climate surveys, and performance evaluation, helping companies build a strong foundation of communication and engagement with their teams. Administration streamlines recruitment, HR reports, the centralized employee database, and payroll incidents, freeing the HR department from repetitive administrative tasks. Finally, People Analytics turns all the data generated by employees into actionable insights to make better-informed decisions. Sesame HR also offers a comprehensive ecosystem of complementary modules — such as Sesame AI, Sesame Learning, advanced electronic signature, document management, expense control, flexible compensation, salary advances, goal management, and meeting room booking — along with seamless integrations with the tools companies already use. Available from any device (web, mobile, and tablet), backed by ISO 27001 certification, and helping companies reduce HR incidents and information loss by up to 80%, Sesame HR is designed to adapt to organizations of all sizes and sectors, from retail and hospitality to industry, logistics, and technology.

## Sesame HR Reviews
 ### 1. Significant Gap Between Promise and Delivery

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Sesame HR?**

Sesame HR presents itself very well. The website is polished, the sales messaging is compelling, and the platform promises to consolidate a wide range of HR and scheduling functions into one system. On paper, it appears to be a comprehensive solution that could meaningfully simplify workforce management.

If the functionality performed consistently and as advertised, it would be a strong all in one HRIS.

**What do you dislike about Sesame HR?**

We have been using the product since August last year, so this feedback reflects sustained operational use rather than an early impression.

The experience has been deeply disappointing.

The scheduling module remains incomplete. A new version of the scheduling tool was released months ago and is still labeled as beta. Basic functionality such as drag and drop shift management is not available. For a modern scheduling system, this is foundational functionality. Its absence creates unnecessary manual work and operational friction.

Multi time zone scheduling has been an ongoing and unresolved issue. As a company operating across regions, this is critical infrastructure for us. We have had repeated discussions with the team and were assured that fixes were coming. Months later, there has been no resolution and no meaningful update. The lack of follow through has significantly eroded trust.

Support is a major weakness. Response times are inconsistent and communication quality is often poor. For a product marketed and sold in English, the support experience should reflect strong language proficiency and a clear understanding of technical queries. Too frequently, responses feel generic or misaligned with the issue raised. On multiple occasions, we have been told that certain illogical design decisions are simply “how it is” rather than seeing any openness to product improvement. That response does not instill confidence.

The onboarding and customer success experience has also fallen short. Rather than proactive engagement or structured guidance, most matters are redirected to standard support. This does not align with expectations for a platform positioned at an enterprise SaaS level.

There is a clear and material gap between what was promised during the sales process and what has been delivered in practice.

**What problems is Sesame HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sesame HR serves as our HRIS and scheduling platform. We use it at a minimum daily and in practice two to three times per day. It is embedded in our operational workflow.

In theory, the platform centralizes employee records, scheduling, and workforce management into a single system. That should reduce tool fragmentation and improve oversight. In reality, the operational benefit has been limited.

Ease of use is superficial. At first glance the interface appears modern and intuitive. However, the more advanced or complex the workflow, the more structural issues become apparent. Features are placed in illogical locations, workflows feel fragmented, and tasks that should be straightforward require unnecessary steps. When these concerns are raised, the response has often been that this is simply how the system is designed rather than acknowledgment of usability gaps.

Implementation was relatively straightforward at a basic level. It is possible to get the system live without major barriers. However, once more complex scheduling requirements, multi time zone coordination, or nuanced operational needs are introduced, the platform begins to struggle. This is where the product consistently falls short.

Integration capabilities are adequate on the surface, but deeper operational alignment requires workarounds. The system does not handle complexity well, which limits how seamlessly it fits into a mature, multi region business environment.

Because we use the platform multiple times per day, these limitations are not occasional inconveniences. They compound. The time spent navigating friction, following up on unresolved issues, and implementing internal workarounds reduces the efficiency gains the platform is meant to deliver.

After several months of sustained use, the system has not delivered the reliability or operational improvement we expected when selecting it.

I would strongly advise evaluating alternatives before committing. For a system that sits at the core of workforce operations, reliability and clarity are not optional.

 ### 2. Easy to use but somewhat confusing.

**What do you like best about Sesame HR?**

The practicality when entering and viewing the different areas of HR.

**What do you dislike about Sesame HR?**

Something confusing and impractical, especially in the documents section.

**What problems is Sesame HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is somewhat slow when registering entry and I don't like the documents section.
