## ServiceNow Security Operations Reviews
  ### 1. Orchestrated Security with a Centralized Command View.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman-Oko S. | Security and Risk Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The biggest win for me is having everything in one screen finally. Before this I was jumping between three different tools just to figure out what was happening with an alert. Now I can see incidents and assign stuff to my team without chasing people down for updates. The dashboard saves me maybe an hour or two each every single day by offering easy to access and simple option buttons. My team seems less stressed too which is nice.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Getting this thing setup was a real pain if I'm being straight with you. We had to bring in outside help because nobody on my team knew how to configure all the integrations properly. Took us almost two months before everything was working right. Also some days the interface just feels clunky and I find myself clicking too many times to get to things I use everyday. Could definitely be more streamlined.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were drowning in alerts before and things kept falling through the cracks. Now we have a proper process where nothing gets lost and we can actually show auditors we did our job. The automation handles the boring repetitive stuff so we can concentrate on actual threats. Still not perfect but way better than what we had. For a big organization like ours it makes a real difference day to day.

  ### 2. Faster Threat Detection and Investigation in One Central Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia M. | Senior Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

ServiceNow Security Operations helps us to spot incidents, understand behavior and points threats faster from one central intelligent platform. It gathers alerts from security tools such as antivirus and cloud security and combine them for incident investigation automatically.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Many of its features doesn't comes with basic price for more add ons or adding similar integration make this security tool much expensive, I called it hidden charges.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to fight back quickly to defending customer data from different systems such as POS and ecommerce, instead of alerting through a pop up it automatically isolate POS before threat spreads. The big problem is daily false alerts which is a big headache but with SecOps it only prioritize and work against actual threat risk. The speed of performing scan of online information is fast which is time saving and provide clean environment for work.

  ### 3. Clear Incident Stages and Organized UI, with Helpful AI Correlation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Strategic Account Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The strongest part of ServiceNow Security Operations for me is how clearly it exposes every stage of an incident, rather than leaving me guessing about what’s happening next. The UI keeps alerts, cases, and investigation details well organized, which makes it easier for me to understand priorities and stay focused on what matters. The AI feature also helps me correlate related events, so I spend less effort separating genuine threats from routine noise.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

‎I have not encountered any major drawbacks while using this software. It has been stable, reliable, and well-designed for security operations.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceNow Security Operations has helped me centralize incident response by bringing alerts, investigations, and remediation tasks into one platform. Instead of switching between multiple tools, I am able to manage security cases from a single location, which makes it easier for me to stay organized during daily security operations.

  ### 4. Centralized Incident Management with Intuitive Dashboard

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vignesh m. | admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I use ServiceNow Security Operations because it provides a single place to manage and track incidents, making it easy to assign tasks, monitor progress, and keep everything updated throughout the process. The dashboard offers a clear view of open incidents and their statuses, which helps my team stay organized and ensures nothing gets missed during investigations. We can quickly see all open incidents without having to ask for updates, allowing us to focus on high-priority issues first.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I find the user interface could be improved since some tasks require multiple clicks to complete. It would be helpful if commonly used actions were easier to access and required fewer clicks. A cleaner layout and simpler navigation would make it easier for new users.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ServiceNow Security Operations to centralize our incident management, improve visibility into our investigations, and ensure a consistent workflow. It helps us stay organized, prioritize high-priority issues, and keeps us updated with a clear dashboard view of all incidents.

  ### 5. All Security Tools in One Place with Fast, Automated Playbooks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The best in it is that it brings all our security tools and alerting systems into one place and lets us launch automated playbooks immediately. We used to bounce between different consoles all day, but now that workload is managed much more smoothly. I can focus on real threats, and response times stay very short without all the constant switching.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The initial setup is very complicated. Getting integrations dialed in takes a lot of time, and if anything is even slightly off, the whole process stalls.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem this solved for our business was the constant flood of alerts and the need to jump between several tools all day. Now it helps by bringing incidents together in one place and automatically ranking them, so we can kick off the right playbooks and stay focused on the real threats.

  ### 6. Improves Security Posture with Strong Playbooks and Orchestration

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

ServiceNow Security Operations is a set of applications that connects IT security with our team to help improve our security posture. I like that it brings together incident reports from endpoints, SIEM, and the firewall. Another advantage is its unique options for playbooks and orchestration, which support a more intelligent workflow.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

When dealing with a high volume of alerts, the alerting system can feel overwhelming. It likely needs some tuning to reduce the chance of false positives and to ensure that threats are highlighted accurately.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It pulls data from third-party tools and maps it against the CMDB to show the security status of assets and services, helping connect threat intelligence to reduced technical and business severity. The UI dashboards and reports are very useful, and they provide a complete view of threats and cyber alerts.

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

My personal favourite is the user interface, which turns overwhelming security alerts into a clean, intuitive layout that immediately feels stabilising. It uses its AI capabilities to spot even tiny vulnerabilities early, before they can ripple outward and compromise the enterprise’s operations.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Every single feature works exceptionally well, the interface is a breeze to navigate, and it handles heavy security tasks without a single hitch. It is rare to find a tool that feels this complete and reliable.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dealing with a constant flood of security alerts used to stress me out completely, and I was always worried about missing something important. This tool solves that exact problem by automatically organizing and sorting everything for me. It removes all the boring manual work and makes sure urgent warnings are never missed.

  ### 8. Clean, Intuitive Dashboard with AI Automation That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anddrew A. | Senior QA Automation Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

The UI/UX is clean and easy to navigate once we become familiar with it, making it simple to track vulnerabilities and incidents from one dashboard. The AI and automation features have successfully reduced repetitive tasks by running playbooks in the background, allowing me to focus on higher-priority security work.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The initial deployment framework demanded specialized administrative expertise that I simply lacked in-house, making setup an uphill battle.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a performance perspective, the platform processes large numbers of alerts efficiently. The duplicate work has been reduced as the integrations connect well with security and IT tools. While the pricing may be higher than some alternatives, the ROI is clear because it has saved time, improved productivity, and lowered operational risk.

The workspace IT Security operations is extremely helpful because it serves as a single pane of glass, eliminating the need to move from system to system or jump around the ServiceNow platform. It also helps us by consolidating data from other platforms like CrowdStrike, getting us the info we need in one place.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

We could always use more information which uses more integrations. I suppose being able to integrate easier with other platforms without the extra cost included with data fabric would be nice.

What I don’t like: the root-cause details feel incomplete. Updates should be tested more carefully before being released. Also, playbook editing isn’t very flexible.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low investigations are managed by richer context. Delayed remediation is managed by vulnerability response. It is hard to prove value is managed by clear ROI, and so the list goes on.

  ### 15. A powerful One-Stop-Shop Platform, But Not Quite Plug-and-Play

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The most helpful bit is probably the fact that it can act as a one-stop-shop - you can integrate a lot of SIEMs / detection tools and ingest everything into one place, which spares you from having to switch between a bazillion different systems. If you're already using SNOW as an ITSM solution, then you can natively link to your CMDB and other ITSM processes which is a big plus for a large enterprise.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Well, the flipside is this is not a plug & play type of tool and proper implementation and tuning might take month, so it's a heavy deployment. Aside from that, it's also reliant on the quality of your CMDB (garbage in, garbage out principle) - if your CMDB is weak, the SecOps outcomes will be poor. All in all, the truth is it requires maturity & time (+cost) investment to deliver value.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main business problem = fragmentation (of alerts, vulns, data), so the benefit here is the capacity to centralize everything, followed by prioritizing and automating response via workflows.

  ### 16. Valuable for Cyber Event Privacy, Needs Better Data Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** komal s. | Sr Modern Service Management Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I like the ability to track trends and maintain privacy for cyber events records with ServiceNow Security Operations. I find the handling of event records and management of incidents to be quite effective.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I find that data related to problems is not private, which forces us to use other products to examine the issues. Also, the initial setup wasn't that easy.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ServiceNow Security Operations to keep all the information private from other ServiceNow users and track trends for continuous improvement.

  ### 17. SecOps at its best

I find it challenging to build playbooks within the ServiceNow Security Operations tool itself. It would be beneficial if the process of building and responding with playbooks was made easier.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ServiceNow Security Operations integrates with ITSM and CMDB, enhancing security workflows and automating incident responses, which efficiently manages SecOps and improves organizational response to incidents.

  ### 32. Service now security.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavesh B. | ServiceNow Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2022

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Service now is very easy to work on. We can create, customized the application. We can provide good solution to the client with good interface. Service now is very vast and keep expanding, there is lot to learn.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

When you start in the servicenow methodology are bit different from other applications but once spend time on it you can easily remember it. Service now mobile application is the one area where I can see that servicenow can improve and for widget creation part can be more suitable for design.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working on critical vulrneavailability remidiates and service now security provide less than 60 second to register the threat. It connect your existing security tools to prioritise and respond to vulranebility and security incident Faster.

  ### 33. Amazing solution but very demanding

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | IT Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The native abilities of ServiceNow Security Operations are very impressive: wide and deep application. Unfortunately it requires a lot of configuration as well as tons of continuous maintenance. Users are also required to enter lots of data. As we are so short on security staff we had to abandon the modules.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The significant investment required to meet prerequisites, to configure, to integrate as well as significant amount of data required to feed the processes.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceNow Security Operations:**

Do not believe ServiceNow’s promise that Security Operations is for everyone. A lot of maturity in your processing and systems is required. A lot of bench strength is needed after go-live to make it work.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We attempted to centralize SOC operations but failed. Instead we are using custom built Smartsheet forms instead.

  ### 34. Service is now

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

  ### 37. This application is perfect to keep the information of the different servers and clients of the comp

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard M. | Especialista en mecánica, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2018

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

What I like most about this application is that it provides a summary of the vulnerabilities from the point of view of the infrastructure security of the company, allowing to identify and quickly correct the technical weaknesses of the technological platforms of the departments.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

What I do not like very much is that it does not provide an intermediate version for small companies, the most basic version seems too advanced for SMEs.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceNow Security Operations:**

I recommend to the entire community that if you need an application to increase security and find the possible technological failures of your company use this without a doubt, it is great highly professional and scalable!

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this application we are able to unify the services of the company to offer our clients a quality product backed by the best vulnerability-free technology infrastructure and in the best possible time. Simply great, I recommend them to everyone! .
