"Simplifies HR Workflows and Employee Requests"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

One thing I liked was that most HR requests can be handled from one place. instead of going through emails, employees can raise requests from the portal, and the flow designer helps reduces manual work. It takes some time to learn everything, but once I understood the basics it started much more sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

One thing I found a bit challenging was the learning curve. Because HRSD has many modules and configuration options, it takes time to understand how everything fits and works together. On top of that, some advanced customizations require fairly complex scripting knowledge, so beginners may need extra time before they feel comfortable using it. "ServiceNow HRSD Streamlines HR with Powerful Self‑Service and Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

ServiceNow HRSD streamlines and modernizes HR operations effectively while still delivering a smooth, consistent employee experience. It brings key HR services - such as case management, employee requests, and knowledge access- into one intuitive interface, which reduces reliance on email threads and manual, fragmented processes. A major strength is the employee self-service portal which end-users and employee access for their day-to-day queries or for requesting service. It makes it easy for employees to find answers, submit requests, and track progress without unnecessary back-and-forth. This helps improve response times and overall employee satisfaction, while also easing the day-to-day workload on HR teams. The built-in knowledge management further supports this by keeping consistent, accurate information readily available across the organization.

ServiceNow HRSD also performs strongly in automation and workflow management. HR processes like onboarding, offboarding, and case handling can be standardized and run more efficiently, reducing manual effort, removing bottlenecks, and supporting compliance with organizational policies which helps in improved ROI and user satisfaction.

Its integration capabilities are another highlight, enabling connectivity with other enterprise systems such as IT, payroll, and third-party HR tools to create a more unified and coordinated employee experience. In addition, the AI-powered virtual agents and intelligence features can provide quick responses, automate common questions, and support better decision-making through insights and recommendations.

On the reporting and analytics side, HR teams get real-time visibility into case trends, response times, and overall service performance, which supports continuous improvement. The platform is also highly scalable and configurable, making it a good fit for organizations of different sizes and adaptable as business needs evolve.

ServiceNow HRSD delivers strong ROI by reducing manual HR effort, improving employee self-service adoption, and streamlining processes like onboarding and case management, leading to cost savings and increased HR team efficiency over time.

Support and onboarding are well-structured, with guided implementations, best practice frameworks, and continuous updates that make adoption smoother and help teams quickly realize value from the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) can be expensive, particularly when you scale it across multiple HR processes. Implementation and customization can also be complex, often requiring skilled resources and significant time to get right. Although the platform is powerful, OCM sometimes becomes difficult.

If HRSD processes are heavily customized using complex integrations and all, at times, performance can be impacted with large volumes of HR cases or complex workflows, requiring optimization to maintain consistent response times and user experience.

In addition, the AI and automation capabilities may require ongoing tuning and strong-quality data to perform effectively, AI use cases need to be carefully reviewed, documented and implemented from the compliance standpoint which involves lots of coordination and collaboration. Integration with legacy HR systems can be difficult as well, and change management during onboarding may add another layer of challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ServiceNow HRSD: Centralized, AI-Powered HR Experience That Streamlines the Employee Lifecycle!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) centralizes and simplifies the entire employee experience seamlessly. Instead of dealing with traditional ways like multiple systems or emails, everything is available in a single user-friendly, intuitive portal, making it easy for employees to find answers and raise requests. The new features like the automation and AI capabilities are really great, which reduce repetitive HR tasks like case routing, approvals, and common queries-helping HR teams focus on more strategic work. Another key strength is end-to-end lifecycle management in one tool, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a consistent and smooth experience. In short, HRSD improves efficiency, speeds up response times, and delivers a much more modern, seamless employee experience which is really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

When it comes to large implementation, HRSD can feel complex from configuration standpoint, especially for new customers or HR teams that don’t have technical support. Some parts of the employee portal could also be more intuitive and easier to navigate.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, it can be relatively expensive, particularly for organizations that don’t end up using the full set of features due to longer and expensive implementation costs. Onboarding and adoption are heavily dependent on having the right training and ongoing support in place which is part of OCM process which usually takes time for people to adopt as well.

Additionally, while the AI capabilities are strong, they still require proper setup and tuning to deliver real value; otherwise, they can feel underutilized from overall investment.

Integrations are powerful as well, but they can introduce added complexity, dependencies, and effort if they aren’t planned, governed, and managed properly and performance may get impacted with heavy integrations. HRSD implementation really needs the right strategy, adoption plan, and support model to maximize ROI else it's always underutilized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized HR Requests and Automation That Boosts the Employee Experience"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I like most about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery is that it centralizes HR services and employee requests in a single platform. This makes it much easier to manage tasks like onboarding, employee questions, and HR cases in an efficient, organized way. The automation and self-service features also help reduce manual work and improve the overall employee experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

One downside of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery is that it can feel complex for new users, so some training may be needed to get started. The implementation and customization process can also be time-consuming, especially in larger organizations where there’s more to configure. In addition, the overall cost may be too high for smaller businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralizes HR Requests that Gets the Job Done."
3.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I'm a Director for Blockchain stuff at a law college so I work with faculty and staff alot. What I like is that HR requests from email and portal all show up in one dashboard. Makes tracking way easier. The self-service portal is fine, employees can submit stuff without emailing HR constantly. Flow designer helps automate approvals which saves time for everyone. I can see case status quickly without chasing people. It cuts down the email chains which was a real struggle before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

The learning curve is no joke honestly. So many modules and options, took me awhile to get it. New staff get lost easily, I had to show two people basic stuff during their first month. Some customizations need coding which I dont know, so we had to get developers involved. Licensing costs alot for what it does. The search is kinda weak too, I type stuff and get random results that arent helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined HR Requests with Ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I like using ServiceNow HR Service Delivery to manage HR requests because it helps keep everything in one place, making it easier to submit and track employee requests without relying on long email chains. It's easy to navigate, and the automated workflows ensure requests are routed to the right people quickly. The clear visibility into the status of each request is great, and the self-service portal makes it simple for employees to find information or submit requests on their own. Plus, automated workflows save time by routing requests to the right team efficiently. The initial setup was super easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I'd like it to be more user-friendly because some tasks take more clicks than necessary. Overall, it's a strong platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great HR-IT Experience, But HRSD Licensing Costs Add Up Fast"
2.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

The biggest win is that it sits on the same platform as ITSM. Same Flow Designer, same portal framework, same update set and release discipline, so the team’s existing skills transfer directly and we’re not maintaining a separate HR tool with its own integration surface. Employee Center gives staff one front door for HR, IT and facilities requests instead of three. HR case management with scoped data separation means HR-sensitive records stay isolated from IT fulfillers without bolting on custom ACLs. Lifecycle Events are genuinely useful for onboarding and offboarding because they orchestrate tasks across HR, IT and other teams from a single trigger rather than relying on email chains. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

Licensing is the main gripe. HRSD is a separate SKU from ITSM, priced per employee rather than per fulfiller, and Employee Center Pro is another line item again, so the total cost climbs quickly for functionality that feels adjacent to what you already own Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive HR Solution with Seamless Case Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I find ServiceNow HR Service Delivery valuable for its case handling and the strong COE security features. The way it manages data segregation and governance is impressive. I like how different department data is secured and each department has its own flow and HR services, which I think is amazing. Also, the portal serves as a one-stop shop for employees, keeping them up to date with their cases and providing access to support and knowledge articles. The initial setup was quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

It would be nice to have an overall HR or manager dashboard to overlook all HR COEs. Also, adding more out-of-the-box COEs would be beneficial. An HR Admin dashboard would be handy to see any issues with the HESD product, portals, review feedback, etc. Additionally, having an option to create a new COE and it should auto-create a shell for a custom COE would be helpful. "Streamlined HR Requests with ServiceNow Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I like the self-service portal in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery. It makes it easy to submit HR requests and track their progress without having to follow up through email. I also appreciate the case tracking and automated notifications, as I can easily see the status of my requests and receive updates without having to contact HR. Additionally, the initial setup was quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow HR Service Delivery?

I find the search could be more accurate, and I would find it helpful if similar HR services were easier to find without browsing through multiple categories. Improving the search by showing more relevant results based on keywords and user history, and grouping related HR services together with better filters or suggested services, would help me find what I need faster.
