"Revolutionized Our Hospital's Maintenance Response, Though There's a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The most significant benefit is the clarity and efficiency it brings to our daily operations. Knowing exactly what job is next, having all the historical data for a piece of equipment at my fingertips, and being able to document my work with photos and notes directly in the work order has improved our department's accountability and productivity. The scheduling and routing logic is intelligent; it has drastically reduced the time we spend driving between our various campus buildings. For the hospital, this means faster resolution times for critical issues, which directly contributes to patient safety and care. The ability to link work orders to specific assets also helps us build a preventative maintenance history, allowing us to spot trends and fix problems before they cause a critical failure. What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The initial setup and training period was substantial. The platform is powerful, which also means it can feel complex at first. For some of my colleagues who were less comfortable with new technology, there was a steep learning curve to becoming proficient with all the features in the mobile app. Occasionally, the interface can feel a bit clunky compared to simpler, consumer-grade apps, but I understand that's the trade-off for the deep functionality it provides. We also had to work closely with our IT department to get the asset data integrated correctly, which was a project in itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich with Integration Perks, Setup Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I use the complete module of ServiceNow Field Service Management with most functionalities and I like that it allows custom parts like fixing a lightbulb or a custom asset to be registered and used for ticketing. I appreciate its speed and efficiency. I like the interface, especially its integration with other parts of the platform like the CMDB, as it makes it feel more complete and provides a more end-to-end view with more historical information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The mobile feature isn't perfect yet and requires lots of knowledge to set up and implement. Additionally, there's a need for more step-by-step guidance about the CSDM setup. The initial setup wasn't very easy, needing lots of expertise and a good understanding of the CSDM data model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Field Management with Strong Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

What I like most about ServiceNow Field Service Management is its centralized platform for managing the entire field service life cycle. The scheduling and dispatch features make it easier to assign the right technician to the right job, and real-time updates improve visibility into ongoing work. The integration with other ServiceNow modules, mobile accessibility for field technicians, and configurable workflows, helps improve efficiency and provides a better overall service experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I find the initial setup and configuration to be complex for new users and it often requires training. Some advanced workflows and customizations take time to implement, and the interface can occasionally feel overwhelming because of the large number of features. The performance can also slow down when working with very large datasets or heavily customized environments. Simplifying the user interface and making configuration more intuitive would improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I like how ServiceNow Field Service Management brings scheduling, dispatching, and work order management into a single platform. It provides real-time visibility into job status for both managers and field technicians, which improves coordination and reduces delays. The scheduling and dispatching tools ensure the right technician is assigned based on skills, location, and availability. Work order management keeps all job-related information in one place, so everyone is working with the latest updates. The integration with ServiceNow ITSM and CSM modules helps us manage customer issues, work orders, and field activities through a single platform. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, especially since we were already using other ServiceNow modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

One thing that could be improved is the complexity of configuring advanced scheduling and business-specific workflows. Some customizations require significant effort and expertise to implement properly. I think the setup process could be simplified with more out-of-the-box templates and guided configuration options for common field service scenarios. Better documentation and setup wizards would help reduce implementation time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful All-in-One Field Service, but Configuration and UI Take Time to Master"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

One of the best things about ServiceNow Field Service Management is its seamless integration of field operations and back-office processes. Managing field staffs, job scheduling, and service request management can become disjointed in practical situations. However, with ServiceNow, you get an all-in-one system that integrates all aspects of service management.

There are a number of good features offered by ServiceNow Field Service Management; for instance, one of the key features of the software is intelligent scheduling and dispatch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

One such constraint that I have found in the case of ServiceNow Field Service Management is that of the complicated nature of its configuration and implementation process. In practical terms, configuring the system, as well as integrating the scheduling process along with other elements, will take considerable time to be accomplished.

Another point relates to the end-user experience of the field service technician using this tool. Even though it is an excellent system, the interface used by it might pose some challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Service Management with Some Complexity"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I like that ServiceNow Field Service Management provides real-time visibility into technician schedules, work orders, and field activities. The automated dispatching and centralized data make field operations much more efficient and predictable. Real-time visibility lets us track work and adjust quickly, while automated dispatching reduces delays by assigning the right technician faster. Centralized data cuts errors and helps technicians resolve issues more efficiently on-site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

Some features feel overly complex to configure, especially workflows and dispatch rules. The mobile app can be slow at times, and customizations often require more development effort than expected. Reporting is strong but could be more flexible for field-level insights. Workflows and dispatch rules require more configuration than expected. Even small changes often need technical expertise, and overlapping conditions can be hard to manage, making updates slower and more complex than they should be. I find ServiceNow Field Service Management incredibly useful for our needs. It provides real-time visibility into the entire service lifecycle, allowing us to offer customers automated updates. I love that it gives technicians offline access to asset history and digital signatures, which has completely removed the need for manual paperwork. Integration with Microsoft Teams and Slack is another great feature because it sends real-time notifications to technicians and dispatchers. Our initial setup went smoothly, thanks to the logical pre-built workflows for work order management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

While the app is great, the initial offline sync can sometimes be slow if you have a lot of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Solution with Some Usability Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I use ServiceNow Field Service Management to support service operations by tracking work orders, and managing task assignments, which improves visibility into ongoing field activities. I like the centralized visibility and real-time tracking of work orders, which enhances coordination and makes service operations more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The interface can be complex for new users, notifications could be more intelligent and performance could be improved when handling large workloads. Initial setup can be complex due to configuration and roles, but becomes manageable with proper guidance. More intuitive navigation, role-based dashboards, smarter priority alerts, and improved performance with faster search and filtering would significantly enhance the experience.
