"Modern, Intuitive Platform for QA Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

ServiceNow has been a very crucial part of my professional journey. I've been using ServiceNow for almost six years everyday to create test plans, manage test cases, log and track defects.

What I like most about ServiceNow Field Service Management is that it provides a easy, modern and intuitive user interface making users to navigate and update efficiently and also how it centralizes the entire testing and defect management process. It makes collaboration with developers, product owners much smoother by providing clear visibility into test execution, defect status and project progress

In my experience, ServiceNow integrates well with other tools like automation tools and CI/CD pipelines allowing teams to track defects, incidents, and test execution from a single platform. It improves traceability and helps stay aligned in the release process

From a QA perspective, I've always appreciated its performance and reliability, even when multiple users work simultaneously. It helps teams stay productive with minimal delay

I believe ServiceNow offers strong value for organizations because it brings testing, defect management and service operations on a single platform.

Another strength is its onboarding experience and support, the documentation, knowledge base, and community resources make it easier for new users to get started.

Finally, about ServiceNow AI capabilities, like the AI-powered search, intelligent recommendations, predictive insights, and virtual agents. This features help automate repetitive tasks, improve decision making and enhance productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

If I had to mention one thing I dislike it would be that because it is feature-rich platform, it can feel a bit complex for new users. There can a learning curve when navigating different modules, workflow and configurations. Some customizations and integrations require technical expertise which can increase implementation time.

Once the users are familiar with the platform and proper processes, these challenges become much easier to manage. In my experience, the benefits in terms of efficiency, collaboration and automation far outweigh these initial challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Connects Customer Requests to Technical Details for Faster First-Time Fixes"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

What I like best is how it connects customer requests directly with the technical details logged by our customer service team. That link makes it easy for technicians to get on the right network and understand the job before they even arrive, which means faster response times and quicker fixes on the first visit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

What I dislike is fairly minor — the initial learning curve when setting things up took a bit of time to get used to, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take long to work through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool for reducing fleet downtime and tracking field tasks"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The mobile application is highly intuitive for ground teams operating in the field. It allows technicians to easily update task statuses, log diagnostic data, and access technical documentation right at the work site, which greatly improves overall field productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The platform has a relatively steep learning curve for new field technicians and ground staff. Because it is highly customizable, the user interface can sometimes feel cluttered or overly complex. Streamlining the navigation for simple daily task closures would be a great improvement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Automation, But Complex Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I like using ServiceNow Field Service Management for its strong automation capabilities, which help me solve issues in the management workflow by reducing manual effort. It centralizes all incidents and requests in one platform, which also helps cut down my SLA. The dashboards are very useful for tracking and reducing SLA times. I appreciate how it facilitates better collaboration across IT and security business streams. The ability to customize easily for various business needs or industries is great, and it works well for both small teams and large enterprises with complex environments. It automates repetitive tasks like ticket assignments, prioritization, and escalations, ensuring everything is handled efficiently. It's helpful for quicker incident responses, and users can easily raise tickets, track requests, and review them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I think the implementation cost of ServiceNow Field Service Management is pretty high, especially for small companies. The setup is really complex and time-consuming, requiring admins and even end users to go through training sessions. The customization also leads to maintenance and upgrade issues, slowing things down if not optimized properly. Additionally, sometimes skillful ServiceNow development is needed. The initial setup was quite challenging, needing technical expertise for APIs and integration. Trouble with integration can be difficult to troubleshoot and performance might be impacted if too many integrations are configured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Integration and Visibility, with High Complexity"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

ServiceNow Field Service Management really shines when it comes to keeping everything connected in one place. By linking fieldwork directly with ITSM, CSM, and Asset Management, it eliminates data silos and makes customer updates seamless. Its smart scheduling takes the guesswork out of dispatching by automatically assigning jobs based on skills, location, and parts availability. Technicians stay productive anywhere thanks to an offline-capable mobile app with instant access to job history and manuals, while managers get clear, real-time visibility into live job statuses and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The biggest drawback is how complex and expensive it is to set up; it also requires serious time, money, and specialized admin support just to get it tailored to your workflows. The interface can also feel a bit overwhelming for new users, so technicians and managers need a solid learning curve to get comfortable. For smaller or mid-sized teams, the steep licensing costs and high maintenance overhead can easily feel like overkill compared to simpler tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent product - built smartly"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The value is in it sitting on the same platform as the rest of our ITSM. Work orders flow from incidents without a handoff, and technicians see the same asset and location data the service desk sees. Scheduling and dispatch handle skills and geography well enough that we stopped managing it in spreadsheets. Mobile app works offline, which matters when techs are in plant rooms and lecture theatres with no signal. Reporting is native, so field metrics land in the same dashboards as everything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

Setup is not light. Getting scheduling, skills matrices and SLAs configured properly took real effort and platform knowledge, and it is not something you hand to a part-time admin. Licensing adds up once you scale technician counts. The mobile app is capable but the UI feels dense on smaller screens, and configuring it well takes work. Upgrades need regression testing on anything customised, which is a recurring cost people underestimate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ServiceNow FSM Keeps On-Site Engineers Fully Prepared with Real-Time Mobile Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

ServiceNow FSM is how effectively it bridges the gap between our remote operations and on-site engineering tasks. When we need to dispatch an engineer for a critical on-premise deployment such as configuring a web application firewall or executing a strict root CA key ceremony FSM ensures they arrive at the data center with the exact technical context, access prerequisites, and required hardware details already queued up. The mobile application is particularly valuable for tracking task progression in real-time, even in secure or air-gapped environments, which ensures our complex infrastructure upgrades and incident responses are executed efficiently and without friction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

The steep learning curve and the heavy customization required to make the platform fit our highly technical workflows. Out of the box FSM often feels designed for traditional dispatch like sending a technician to repair hardware or run cables. But when we are dispatching an engineer to deploy a Post-Quantum ML-DSA/ML-KEM certificate chain on an Apache server, or pushing custom Root CA bundles to an on-premise network appliance via CLI, the default task templates and mandatory fields can feel overly rigid and misaligned with our actual work. We sometimes have to navigate through multiple irrelevant dropdowns or fight with a interface just to update a work order, attach complex configuration scripts, or log a unique troubleshooting step. "Dynamic Scheduling and Mobile Support Enhance Service Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I like ServiceNow Field Service Management for managing service requests, technician scheduling, and work order tracking because it gives good visibility in task progress. The dynamic scheduling feature is good and helps assign the right technician based on availability, skills, and location, which improves response time and reduces manual coordination. Work order management centralizes service requests, task updates, priorities, and status tracking in one place, making operations more organized and easier to monitor. Mobile support for technicians is especially useful since field staff can access job details, update task progress, capture notes or images, and communicate in real-time directly from mobile devices while on-site. It works well when integrated with other ServiceNow modules and internal business tools for better workflow management and coordination. Overall, the experience has been good, and I would definitely recommend it, rating it a 10 for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

One thing I feel could be better is the learning curve. Since the platform has many features and configurations, it takes some time for new users to get comfortable with it. Sometimes the setup and customization part can also feel a bit complex, especially during the initial implementation. Apart from that, the overall experience has been good, but a more beginner-friendly interface and simpler onboarding would make it even better. This is my opinion only. "Streamlines Field Operations, Room for UI Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

My experience with ServiceNow Field Service Management has been positive, especially with its ability to organize and manage field service activities. I appreciate the platform for providing better visibility into service requests, work assignments, and technician activities, which helps teams stay coordinated and respond to customer requirements more efficiently. I find work order management, technician scheduling and dispatch, and real-time visibility of field activities particularly valuable. These tools help organize service requests, assign the right tasks to technicians, and keep track of work progress. I also find the centralized access to customer and service information useful because it helps technicians understand job requirements before reaching the site. ServiceNow Field Service Management was introduced to improve and centralize our existing field service processes, and it effectively brings work order management, scheduling, dispatch, and service tracking into a structured workflow. Once the system was configured, it became much easier for the team to use. I would recommend ServiceNow Field Service Management for its good visibility into field operations, streamlining of work order management and technician scheduling, and improvement in coordination between field teams and management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

One area that could be improved is the overall user experience and simplicity of some workflows. For new users, understanding the different modules and configurations can take some time, and certain processes may require additional training. I also think the mobile experience and performance could be further optimized in some situations, especially when technicians are working in the field with limited connectivity. More intuitive navigation and faster access to frequently used information would make the platform even more convenient for day-to-day field operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Field Operations with Real-Time Visibility, But Setup is Complex"
4/5
What do you like best about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

I appreciate ServiceNow Field Service Management for its dispatch automation, which takes out the guesswork of sending the right tech to the right job based on location. It really streamlines our operations by aligning resources effectively. The dispatch automation is the standout cuts out so much manual coordination. UI is functional but nothing exciting, works better on desktop than mobile. Integrations with other ServiceNow modules are solid once configured properly. Performance is generally reliable, rarely have downtime issues. ROI is there but takes time to show up given the hefty licensing cost. Support is responsive, onboarding however needed way more hand-holding than expected. The AI-driven scheduling is genuinely useful gets smarter over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Field Service Management?

Reporting feels limited, and getting custom reports out of it is harder. The user interface can feel clunky in places, especially on mobile, which field techs usually use. The initial configuration took way longer than expected with lots of dependencies to get right before it actually works the way you want. Setting it up was not straightforward at all, and it needed dedicated IT resources for the setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
