I do love coding intensively myself, as I am a software architecture, but the way App Engine removes the hassle and incentivizes productivity, helping me build new automations and tools quickly, wins my heart. I've worked (and still work) with different low code tools, but none have come close to the high level of flexibility and all the features that App Engine offers me. **What do you dislike about ServiceNow App Engine?** Debuggability could be better, as sometimes it takes quite a while to track down an issue. Typo errors and lack of configuration erros are less common, as App Engine, as a UI interface for coding, enforces some stuff that normal could would only alert with compilers and all, but still, real time debugging isn't as simple and intuitive as just spinning up a debugger on an IDE and stepping through the code, line by line, to figure out what's wrong. We have decided to keep App Engine on a developer level and not letting Citizen Devs in, but it has made developer tasks easier in a lot of ways. We have been able to promote the ServiceNow platform internally on another level and being able to deliver a simple app within just a few weeks really shows how easy it is to replace admin tasks that are very time consuming and employee resource straining. It is also a great training ground for junior developers to start learning key concepts in app developement without getting stuck on troubleshooting code etc. My favourite feature is the App Home view, where i get a clear view of what the app contains, what logic it is based on and what experiences are connected. **What do you dislike about ServiceNow App Engine?** In our case we hade trouble finding documentation supporting the implementation of App Engine. Since we were in between support partners we had to do the implementation in our sub-prod on our own with a junior in house developer.
