Servant Keeper couldn't keep up **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Matt W. | Youth Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023 **What do you like best about Servant Keeper?** The customer service was superb and always available **What do you dislike about Servant Keeper?** The Servant Keeper feature set could not keep up with the competitors, and the user interface was outdated **What problems is Servant Keeper solving and how is that benefiting you?** Servant Keeper was good at basic Membership management. ### 2. We like being able to track all of our contact information with basically any additional fields we want to use. We also use it for our financial information. We like that it ties to Quickbooks and to Vanco. **What do you dislike about Servant Keeper?** Reports are impossible to customize and not all the ones we want are included. Trying to track pledges is near impossible - we are a small church and I have had to create my own spreadsheets to get the information I need which is downright ridiculous. Servant Keeper gets confused with prior year givings towards pledges and doesn't always recognize a fulfilled pledge on a contribution statement (always a source of consternation from our members). Tie to Quickbooks does not include the memo field - which is very important to us. **Recommendations to others considering Servant Keeper:** I would make sure you can get all the reports that you will be using. Don't assume that they have everything you need. Keep the tech support though at least the first year. The product is easy to use, but there is a lot of gloss on essentially a still clunky product in my opinion. **What problems is Servant Keeper solving and how is that benefiting you?** In order to move to SK we have had to clean up our existing database and member files. So we have done a lot of house cleaning. However, SK has not solved any problems, but has created some new ones. ### 3. Not Without Its Limitations **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Brett N. | Pastor of Youth and Families, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2017 **What do you like best about Servant Keeper?** We are able to store all the contact information for individuals and families at our church, and, from those records, produce church directories. **What do you dislike about Servant Keeper?** It is not very intuitive, and it does not allow all of the categorization options we desire. **Recommendations to others considering Servant Keeper:** I have not looked into other solutions, but I have to believe there are better solutions out there. **What problems is Servant Keeper solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem ServantKeeper solves is keeping track of all the contact information for our congregants.
