The Rank Tracker setup flow also looked straightforward. **What do you dislike about Serpstat?** The biggest problem is a critical product limitation that was not clear upfront. I needed to check rankings for my own Russian website across just 23 search queries. Support first suggested purchasing a paid subscription, but only afterwards informed me that Serpstat does not provide ranking data for Russian domains or the Russian search market at all. This means that even if I had followed their recommendation and paid, the service still would not have solved my task. I fully understand that a company may choose not to support a particular market, but such a fundamental restriction should be made very clear before users spend time registering, exploring the product, configuring tools, or considering a subscription. The most frustrating part was not being denied free access. It was discovering only after contacting support that the core functionality I needed was unavailable in principle. **What problems is Serpstat solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my case, it did not solve the problem. My goal was very simple: establish baseline search rankings for 23 queries before making SEO changes to my website. Because Serpstat does not support the Russian search market for my use case, I had to switch to another rank-tracking service and repeat the setup there. As a result, Serpstat provided no practical benefit for this task and only cost me additional time. ### 2. The UI was good and there were many options. **What do you dislike about Serpstat?** They have removed most of the LTD features and tried to force me to upgrade. It's not fair at all. **What problems is Serpstat solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't solve any issue anymore with them. They make huge changes without explanations. The latest update removes tons of functionality. Customer service is also poor without any empathy for your problems. For instance, after remodelling there keyword tracker I contacted support and was told "We have announced all the changes in our social media"... really, brilliant. Lets get important feature update news from your latest tweets. Overall, it's the poorly developed slow UI that lets Serpstat down. While other software I've been using has improved year on year, Serpstat seems to be going backwards. If you can get a lifetime deal, then its probably still worth it. No crawling support for single page applications (reports our site as 1 page) Example: Looking at the overview dashboard for my projects, multiple components can be displaying the same data and yet have different values (on the same page). This is equally annoying when some pieces of data have updated and some haven't without any frame of reference as to when each value updated. Example: Regularly I'll be looking at the tracked keywords report and the data will be "loading" for an entire day while they refresh, why not display the old values along with a last updated date until there's new data. **Recommendations to others considering Serpstat:** Don't, go with someone else. **What problems is Serpstat solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm trying to track the SEO performance of our site. ### 5. However, recently their databases are terrible, with 90% of data not loading or not showing. I wish this was for markets that were obscure, but we are talking UK market, using fairly generic keywords, with terrible terrible results. **What do you dislike about Serpstat?** There data is out of date and not complete, and as such, I can no longer recommend Serpstat. I have now subscribed to SEM Rush, and their data set is amazing. **Recommendations to others considering Serpstat:** Don't bother, pay for a better tool **What problems is Serpstat solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, I've improved website rank for various sites on Google, and also customised content to make sure key queries are answered.
