I use this for academic research. It's flexible and powerful and well-documented so I could easily get setup with python code (that I modified for my use). Helpful customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a bit pricey, especially for academics. It's not terribly priced, but I think if it were around 50% less I'd be even more likely to use it. I'd like additional APIs to be created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can check results in different locations, I can see all of the SERP features and their underlying metadata on demand with no commitment required to a particular set of keywords. Also, alongside the JSON returned from the API you get a screenshot of the actual SERP, not some cobbled-together version of what was there. It’s much easier to grok. My only complaint is that the Google Sheets plug-in doesn’t work the way I’d expect it to. I struggled with it and gave up, just relying on the web-based tool for now. Eventually I’ll integrate the data into my own SEO tools but for now the desktop website is easy to use and tells me what I need to know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
